1.Whats the purpose of creating NOUN?

2. Which kind of student can they admit?

3. Is the University really meant for adults or working class people above 30 years who couldn't get University education before they reached age 30.

4. If question 3 is yes, why do they admit young scholars btw 16 - 26 years?

5. Why is it not advertised that this school is not for young people who are eligible for NYSC so that young a scholars obtaining their form ll know that he/she ll not do NYSC?

Not every NOUN student is interested in serving...But the constitution regarding NYSC must be implemented in NOUN, such that those that are interested in serving their fatherland should be allowed to do so.

No, I'm not. But I took the pains to study; wrote and passed UME and post-UME, and secured admission into a federal university, University of Benin to be precise. I encourage you to do same. It's not too late you know.

What are u people feeling like ? NOUN or adjective. You think we that attend normal school are your mate ? Do you have lecturers, H.O.D's, Profs, Faculty president, social life,....bunch of tutorial products .You people sit at home or office , copy and paste TMA and do exam so una wan compare una self with products of better schools like OAU, UI, Uniben,Futa, Unilag and lots more abi? U people should be careful. NOUN is a provision under adult education not for youth go and resit and pass jamp and PUME. Lazy people olodooosss . Infact your certificate should be photocopied ! Not coloured ! Special centers ! N-National O- Olodos U- Unserious N-Nigerians !

Well said by the students' representative. What I know however, is that there must be a reason for the action by NYSC and d law school for not admitting dos graduates into dr systems. I believe a close look @ d objectives of the establishment of NOUN shud tell us more. I just think so. So I will ask d guy, ve u guys checked out the reason for d establishment of NOUN and the constitution of d institution?

BTW, I think I read dis in dat essay “It is quite disappointing that, after 4 years of academic grinding, plus hard work in an institution with no equal, where you have obtained the best of knowledge under a properly guided system devoid of any form of examination malpractices, what you get is discrimination from some government establishments.

I thought NOUN is a part time school, even PT students from regular university are excluded cos they did not wrote the UME, beside are they aware that NYSC has age limit, NOUN is meant for working class to acquire additional qualifications
