Husten:Sorry for you. You are totally oblivious of NOUN's standard of education. The examinations are standard. Have you actually laid your hands on any of NOUN's past question paper? |

NOUN wasn't created for young lads..its actually for older peeps who wish to acquire university degree...many things wrong, now u find 20year old saying am in open university....they should take the case to court for judicial interpretation... |

sonssyo:Never. Am not a NOUN graduate but I disagree with ur comment a hundred percent. NOUN is being judged harshly by people who doesn't know anything about the school. NOUN is internationally recognized to be number 23 out of 136 Universities in Nigeria. Check the statistics here http://www.webometrics.info/en/Africa/Nigeria And moreover, it's not the only open and distant learning institution. Google Open University of UK, Open University of South Africa and Indiri Ghandi Open University of India. Am sure u will be very surprised at how grand those schools are and U wouldn't reject Admission from any of those schools if u were to choose between them and a first generation University here in Nigeria. I strongly attest for NOUN. It's a very promising school which will sooner or later over take the first generation Universities. Mark my words. |

lacreamieboie:Not every NOUN student is interested in serving...But the constitution regarding NYSC must be implemented in NOUN, such that those that are interested in serving their fatherland should be allowed to do so. No, you can't. |

No, I'm not. But I took the pains to study; wrote and passed UME and post-UME, and secured admission into a federal university, University of Benin to be precise. I encourage you to do same. It's not too late you know. ClintonNzedimma: |

What are u people feeling like ? NOUN or adjective. You think we that attend normal school are your mate ? Do you have lecturers, H.O.D's, Profs, Faculty president, social life,....bunch of tutorial products .You people sit at home or office , copy and paste TMA and do exam so una wan compare una self with products of better schools like OAU, UI, Uniben,Futa, Unilag and lots more abi? U people should be careful. NOUN is a provision under adult education not for youth go and resit and pass jamp and PUME. Lazy people olodooosss . Infact your certificate should be photocopied ! Not coloured ! Special centers ! N-National O- Olodos U- Unserious N-Nigerians ! |

| Re: NYSC: Angry NOUN Students Threaten Nationwide Protests by anwo247: 2:35pm On May 16, 2015 |
It is wrong for a government to set up an institution and disqualify them from participating in NYSC. What is it in NYSC that a part time student cannot cope with? These noun students only had to attend such schools due to condition. The government should not worsen their nightmare by discrimination. Or better still, scrap the insitituon if you're not sure of the knowledge from there. We have this fake belief that everyone is equally privileged. So sad, inhumane, and retrogressive. |

Someone just said i should keep quiet yes i will as soon as you go back and register JAMB, sit down and read hard to pass it and then prepare for Post UME. If others pass then you can pass too ! NOUN is a part time programme for Senior citizens not for aggrieved students that are scared of passing Jamb and PUME. You said im feeling pompous yes its worth it. You cant attend Great Ife, Unilag or any of the afore mentioned schools and not feel poMpous . A pass from UNAD or OSU is not ur mate even with 1st class from NOUN. We can drag with polytechnics , college of education products even Computer training student but NOUN products thats a ridiculous sueable comparation my brother. You should respect Us anywhere you see us. #Indomie products we na beans e nor dey quick soft ! Una na 5mins e don done. But my fiancee na NOUN she finish ooo e be like say i go break up with her self. Na joke i dey ooo but im always serious when im joking sha ! #NoserviceForUNA untilArsenalwinsChampionsleague |
