This is the kind of reaction you might get from some Nigerian Mother if you bring a particular guy home as your fiance, especially if she was expecting you to marry a Doctor or a Lawyer and the rest of them, Looolz. In the real sense this guy's are broke, the profession only carries name.

I wonder why some parents don't see the potentials we see in our men,just work hard in whatever field you find your self and be the best in it.

Read the second paragraph that says 'in whatever field you find yourself, be the best in it' so we can't all be doctors or lawyers and the rest.

This is a general statement that implies that anyone who chooses the aforementioned profession would be broke, his only benefit being the name. You re not saying that a particular person in that profession can be broke, u re saying that anyone who ventures in that area will be broke.
