goodgate:It is only unwise fellows that do not reason outside the box & you just expressed yourself as one. Why was there clamour for state police? What did you think escallated kidnap & oil bunkering in the niger delta, you think it was just the millitants? Where was those security agencies when oil production dropped from 1.9mbd to 700k bd? What have your security agencies done to ongoing vandalisation & bunkering in Arepo & Ogun state environs, including Ikorodu axis? Wisdom is broad & not narrowminded like yours. |

Those against d Withdrawer of these contracts mean to tell me dat because of tribal sentiments or regional bigotry, dey rada nigeria kip paying millions 2 individuals and also pay d arm forces wgile odas do their job 4 dem. Let d contracts be revoked. |

luvinhubby:We are stating the obvious, the reality and they are just talking crap. Shell and co. will just declare force majeur on its contracts and evacuate its personnel via choppers leaving the soldiers to man the platforms and flow stations while fighting an unseen enemy. The entire armed forces numbers not more than 300,000 active combatants. There are 3 million youths with access to those creeks, there are hundreds of flow stations, thousands of miles of pipeline. Where do you want to start. |

datone:ignorance dae really disturb most of una, u go just dae talk wetin u no know, even Asari go beg if Buhari start, if like doz Niger delta militants haven given up in 2006 by now d population of d entire ss wud have reduced, d only thing dat differentiated d Ijaw militants from d Biafran soldiers was dat they refused to surrender despite d time given to them, but d Ijaw militants wen they gave them dat same offer they weighed d odds and had to surrender. If not....****** |

lygn19:You don't just get it. Even the Asari's and co. pay out a lot of money to keep this peace. NDDC pays, the Ministry of the Niger-Delta pays, the IOC's pay. The drop in crude oil funds is already causing much disquiet there as much as in the government and then you want to take it all away and give their adversaries, the Nigerian State. Hmmm |

lygn19:You know that I am a Yoruba man cos you know that Yorubas wouldn't celebrate mediocrity in place of excellence. I excluded Edo and Ondo state even Southern part of Delta state cos you wouldn't expect sons to fight their loving Cousins (Yorubas). The rest could go to flames................ who cares |

einsteino:Bros, I believe GMB is wise enough. Forget all these news ur seeing about this and that, he (GMB), even if he'll revoke anything, he will surely provide something else of make things juicy for the Niger Deltans that will even mke the citizens stand up for him. I don't think he's so inexperienced/foolish to just jump into cancelling the contract even though we all know that contract was wrong right from the beginning. |

Scholes007:Haba!! Why una dey talk like this? So trying to do away with wastage is not a way to succeeding? This man (GMB) wants to recover enough money from d wastages of the outgoing administration in order to fix other things and u call it creating enemies? These are the things that needs to be done inn order for us to know that we're actually progressing, instead doing the same wrong things and expecting a different result. |

sebali:Have you ever heard that one of the oil pipelines has missed ever since president GEJ appointed the bodies to secure the pipeline route? A lot of people are lamenting that FG should create more Job opportunities in Nigeria in order to aid they citizens of our country and you are trying to advice the president-Elect to remove the youths from their daily feeding basics just to satisfied His Co-party. You could have suggested that president-Elect should reduct their salary if it is too competent to bear by one person in order to help other youths. Beside if Buhari must quit the youths from their Job then Him (Buhari) has no right to recruite another group. No one is above Nigeria Law. Beside, Nigeria police force can do all security work in Nigeria. |

chamboy:May be the amnesty program has given some people excess power to think u can defeat the federal govt of Nigeria... All the fed govt needs to do is to freeze the accounts of the so called "made" militants block all the routes, and finally, all out on them. Trust me, u'll kill some soldiers and probably, blow up pipelines, but trust me, the WHOLE available militants will become dust. I repeat, when a federal govt carry ur matter for head, u no fit win ooo. We're talking of ND militants not ISIS... So pls, those threatening the nation, there's actually no need cos Nigeria belongs to all... |

Reference:I'm already holding my leaders responsible and I'm not talking about my Governor. As I'm typing this I can see my honourable supervising the construction of street lights. Last week, he took most of the kids for excursion. Everyday on my way to work, I'm always seeing school buses taking children to and fro their schools courtesy my Representative. These are what have seen within the week. . . . That's the definition of holding your leader accountable. |

lygn19:Enyia, jee dono ani. Leave NDeltans alone. Only a fool rushes to war without weighing out his options. GEJ is still in power, NDeltans reactions to his loss is apt and wise. Stop taunting them. |

BlackTechnology:Shallow and myopic as usual; you talk at the level of tribesmen when we are talking of an issue of national security and interest; do you think the consequences of blowing up the pipelines and holding the whole country at ransom would affect only certain tribe or all ppl living in Nigerian? Well, picture this, lets suppose your militants managed to carry out their threats and Nigerians begin to suffer as a result of their action; do you think that would win you their sympathy or unite them against you and whatever counter measure the government of the day decides to embark to eliminate such blackmail. As for the killing of my tribesmen, well that won't change anything nor affect their destiny since we believe that every living being is destined to die, neither a second more would be added or subtracted from their time; so to us, death is inevitable and we therefore accept it; only cowards like you die many times before their death. |
