Fake or no fake, most Nigerian families have children before deciding how to feed and cater for them. The idea of having the right number of kids in accordance with the family income is alien to them.
Many will simply tell you "god will provide" - God will not provide squat but the kids will end up in poverty!
Some fools will tell you "na for insurance" but the average life expectancy in Nijja is between 49-60 so the parents don't live long enough to cash in on the policy.

The main reason for having these kids is to use them as house help and servants!
