GMB simply afforded Gen Abacha the constitutional presumption of innocence. it is a legal right that he is entitled to. so the burden of proof is on you to prove beyond reasonable doubt. GMB did not exonerate Abacha nor absolve him of other charges against him. But he said after 10 years all these talk should be over if our leaders knew what they were doing. GEJ freed Abacha's men so how did GMB err by his constitutional words. Govt apparatus should not be turned into instrument of cheap blackmail. support me or I will expose you or prosecute you. The argument against GEJ is not that GMB or Abacha were saints, it is impunity in which Nigeria and Nigerians were disappearing. It was not like that under any past leader no matter what. You can give all the excuses in the world but the bulk stopped at GEJ table. what was he afraid of? they threatened to do the right thing by exposing the traitors. but at the end it was easier to keep quiet and lose power to those denigrated for four years. can you beat that?!

Indeed, look up my posts. I speak truth to power! not by half, the whole truth! I once said GMB campaign won't be immune to the current epidemic of corruption. That he has sufficient moral fibre to save us from a free fall. I never said he was perfect. As for GEJ, I once said no one was caught with a smoking gun. I presume he is innocent. But his constitutional innocence could not save him from my legitimate reaction to what I experience as a Nigerian. Your experience is different from mine so why should I support a man based on your own experience. My neighbour is a Christian from Chibok. they voted GEJ in 2011 but now the experience of corrupt neglect made them to vote GMB. The choice is not as simple as you think it was. for many of who live close to the ground zero we see corrupt derelection of duty on the part of those who had sworn to protect us. I may be too naive to bother about who stole what where when and how unless what was stolen undermined my security and thereby exposing me to clear and present danger.but I won't blame you if you conveniently juggle the proportion of iniquity between Abacha and GEJ or GMB and GEJ. However, when you are faced with the choice in the context of danger you may think of changing your guards! GEJ was sufficiently warned. The six week military campaign showed that he was not helpless all along. Ok maybe all have sinned or all are corrupt or GEJ is a saint. Whatever! 90% for the rich 10% (budget ratio) for the poor is a recipe for social disaster. I refused to validate the disaster QED.

I wish you guys can bring up issues not persons. I am not going to hold GMB to the standard of any Nigerian leader. GEJ and Abacha? Haba! there are sufficient principles of governance under chapter 2 of our constitution that you can gauge govt performance with. anything short of good governance issues is nothing but childish bickering.

His campaign funds were funds belonging to different states but were stolen to achieve his personal ambition. Other corrupt persons also donated to him. He's interested in power not in any corruption fight. Darkness cannot fight darkness...He took stolen funds to campaign hence cannot fight those who steal...He's interested only in power....

2. My support for Jonathan in 2011 is on Oath and it is publicly documented. I don't hate him or anyone, I am just fed up. The excuse of the military is good for those who follow propaganda. not Good in war front.APC is also guilty of Propaganda Ok. Imagine a military saying they just got weapon from another place after 3 years oh inaction. how about the excuse that they underestimated BH initially. Has anyone come how out to debunk the peanuts being paid soldiers as allowance in war front. have you been to barracks and seen the welfare conditions of soldiers and other security men. look my brother I have had the privilege of seating with an escort mopol who confirmed for a 5 hr journey. I have been to barracks and interacted with officers. Res ipsa loquitor the matter speaks for itself at ground zero.

In conclusion, for you to be fair in comparison I will give you one principle of natural justice, equity and good conscience. In law it is titled doctrine of judicial precedent or stare decisis. in argument it is: where the same reasons exist the same law prevails and of things similar the judgment is similar (ubi eadem ratio Ibi eadem lex, est De similibus idem est judicium). for this, Anything u say about GMB will be unfair until he occupies the office under consideration. I suppose I am not misjudging your sense of fairness or your original intention.

I wonder how most of you have peaceful rest and sleep after all these outright lies and half truths...How can you say there's lack of evidence or a case remains mere allegation with ALL FUNDS RETURNED or seen STASHED in foreign accounts waiting repatriation for which his family took federal government to court using various companies as fronts...Buhari because he has eaten the porridge sold his birthright...Abacha wife brought him into politics and Abacha sons sponsored his campaigns... buhari is NO change but oligarchs knack for power and supremacy....

there was no lies against buhari...otherwise let him challenge such in court if he thinks anybody impugned his character or integrity with lies whatsoever because that's what any sane man will do...
