Very Nice Akpabio too much-o commissioning in one day projects many states cannot commission in 8 yrs.

4.6 km Storm Water drainage passing through two Local Government Areas of the state, which drains water from the new stadium ( Nest Of Champions) in uyo to Obot Idim Ibesikpo LGA where the outfall is located which is a swamp/Marshland that drains into the Eket river an onto the Atlantic.

This Huge project was built by Julius Berger and commissioned today by gov Akpabio and will while draining the stadium also help alleviate erosion and drainage problems, As all residents on the path of the project can now channel their storm water into the drain.

In addition to this the Akpabio Administration had 2012 and 2013 commissioned the 3.7km underground pipe jacked drainage in uyo with Out fall In Itu LGA and another underground and pipe jacked drain at Abak LGA. All constructed by Julius berger.

Akwaibom is the new capital of Nigeria! The state has earned it..

Akpabio commissions the Phase 1 of Uyo - Ikot Ekpene - Aba road, which was initiated by his administration and is constructed by Julius berger. the next phase of the project which is still ongoing will take the road all the way to Aba in Abia State.

It is Note worthy that this was a Federal Road that the state government had to intervene because it was bad for several decades and the FG did nothing about it.
