I'm pretty sure there are no immigration officers reading this thread daily to keep up with your application tactics. Don't confuse intelligence gathering with normal everyday people working. There is a reason why they ask for so many documents and with the amount of people applying, they can easily see trends when people start lying.
How sure are you? We monitor things! cool

I agree with Memphis bleek..your name reminds me of that rapper that started with Jay-z back in the late 90's. If indeed an applicant intend to return to Nigeria after their programme in Canada, then why are they applying for diploma(advanced, post or non advanced) only to come back to Nigeria and compete with other grads with masters and PhD from the EU.... His post does makes a lot of sense. I won't even be surprised if there are Nigerians working in those visa offices assisting the vo's with applications, more like filtering the applications that are likely gonna be approved or denied before the vo makes a final decision. This happens with vo's in British embassies.

I believe to convince the vo's otherwise, the sop must be rock solid. And of course, we can't rule out God's favour..

Hello guys! Please I am encountering some problems while trying to submit my online application. Am applying for masters in MUN but after inputting my credcard details and click proceed, it will tell me that the payment was unseccesful, that an error occurred during the transaction and I should try again. I have tried it many times but its the same.
Please I need your help here. What should I do about it?

[quote author=hayqinsbFX post=33961217]your app is no where clear yet.
a clearer explanation wud do for ur best interest.
what program ae you going for and what did you study before.
what has bn the reasons for the denial.

Here is the answer to your question
The school is Sait nd I applied for diploma in Hospitality Management because I studied food science and technology in my first degree HND.
I work with a food company dat just employed me in January 2015
But last year that I applied twice I was working in the bank but its not coronate with my career.

Reason for denial are.
1. Travel history
2. Length of proposed study
3. Personal assests
4. Family ties to Canada and home country.

My uncle who has being my sponsorer from secondary school was the one sponsoring me nd he submitted all docs financial, Soa, letter from company, Work ID. Yet I still got messed up.
Please I need every help as school resumption date is Septembe 8

i dunno if i am right but one huge red flag i see in this application is, she started a new job in february , you applied in April . i believe VOs won't buy the study leave and promotion letter thing. you know most companies have a policy on the minimum time you have to work before you get a study leave let alone promotion on a PGD. ANYWAYS i no be the VO, this is my opinion just based on the things i have seen here since part 3 started.

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by dbabba: 9:16am On May 22, 2015
Something has been bothering me about online application and I decided to check it out on the CIC website. I saw that we were only asked to submit the requested documents and no provision was made for documents like (CV, birth certificate, certificates, employment letters and so on), infact it was stated that one would be contacted when additional documents are required.

Now my grouse is I feel it is morally and legally wrong for the VO to deny an application based on documents that were not requested and it should be questioned. For example there is no provision for one to prove home ties to his country, so why would they go ahead and deny one's application on something that was never asked for. At least they should have made a post application request for such before going ahead to play the almighty. Moreover, it was stated on the application website that "we would be contacted when additional documents are required"

Please, I need people's opinion on this.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Nobody: 9:27am On May 22, 2015
@Dbaba

All of those things you mentioned are usually uploaded along with the letter of explanation documents..And proving home ties can be done in different ways, from SOP to landed documents to marriage to future employment..Again it is no fault of theirs that most can't seem to convince them enough.

Ok I understand you, but what do they mean when they say they will contact us if additional documents are required?

Guys, I have gotten email from cic twice that my application has been updated and that I should log in to view message. When I log in, it shows new message, but when I open the application, I don't see anything new. What does this mean? Same thing happened with my daughter's application this morning. Anyone experiencing something similar?
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Opesyy(m): 10:29am On May 22, 2015
Kindly include it if you can because It's among the requirements and nowhere was it stated that you shouldnt include it for online app. But, we have seen people who didnt submit it and still got TRV. Cheers
