The most notorious First Lady Nigeria ever had. Very tough, a no-nonsense lady, but with an achilles heel - her LOOSE mouth. Her uncouth nature is one of the reasons GEJ had many enemies. Her power-hungry quest helped in causing a rift between Amaechi and GEJ. She wasn't the model First Lady, even Michelle Obama had no powers compared to the wand of power PEJ waved.

She should be a lesson for other future First Ladies to learn from, because any First Lady that tows her path will end up in the path of abuse, ignominy and shame. I still lover her toughness though.

I like the line where you said '' but with an achilles heel - her LOOSE mouth''. I'm an engineering graduate though, but I appreciate it when I see people making use of poetry words in driving home their points. That was taken from the epical tale of the great Archiles right? Thumbs up.

that woman is one in a million, she was and is a pillar of strong support for her husband . I wish all nigerian women could be supportive of their husbands in whatever they are doing irrespective of what outsiders are saying about their husbands and family.

She may have her flaws but when it comes to supportive wife and mother to her people, she has no equal.

many ppl abusing and insulting pej are just jealous of the fact that she is to her husband what their own wives are not. many ppls wives will not even support their husband one bit and allow the man to work till he drops dead . But this is a woman that despite her limitations and the insults hurled at her she kept on supporting her husband even when she was ill.

Out of the 6families that have entered aso rock ,only 3 came out without losing someone. Ibb,abdulsalami and gej. The remaining 3 either lost their husband or wives .

Just the simple mistake of his mother holding on to his ankle with her fist while dipping him into that immortalising water, made him mortal through nthat tiny point. He would have lived for almost forever. Mehn!!!!!!! you just brought hisstory into my skull today again sis. LOL. grin

I can imagine the battles they had to fight staying in Aso rock. Definately Baba Buhari was not just waiting patiently because I see him as a guy who desperately wanted to become the president again. Who knows what he did and what his fellow supporters did behind closed doors.

..but really GEJ did a terrible job. He was too weak as the president of a violent and corrupt country like Nigeria. We need some one strong with fresh new ideas. ...but definitely not old retired military man undecided
