Is Oshogbo a city? Or is it a city because it has "dualizide" roads with street lights?

I cant believe you left out Sokoto, whoever that compiled that list.

Sokoto, the capital city of Sokoto State should be like the second or third in that list. I stayed a long time in Sokoto. The city is magnificient, Serene, Peaceful, looks like Quatar in Nigeria. Far ahead in beauty than almost all the capital cities in Nigeria.

Everyone is tolerant of each other. This is because it is the seat of the Caliphate.

Everyone feels safe where they grew up....there is nothing you tell some Ibo boys born in the North east to come down south, they won't listen,Same goes to Lagosians,no place is as safe and comfortable as Lagos, even if they have a mansion in Anambra.

Abeg take Lagos and Benin off that list. Why should Lagos be there when people are being robbed even on 3rd Mainland bridge. As for Benin, every policeman/policewoman (GD or Specialist) will tell you that apart from the restive NE, Benin is pretty much one of the most dangerous and brutal states down south to serve in as a cop.

Popemax:
I double dare u bro....there r safe cities in Nigeria
Test 1; can you call the police on your phone and they'll be there in 15 minutes?

Test 2; can you build a house without constructing a 7 foot wall around your house?

Test 3; can you install windows and doors without installing barricades that make your home look and feel like prison?

Test 4; can you avoid not reading about monthly occurrences of jungle justice?

Test 5; can you go out to buy gas or shop after 12 midnight?

If your answer is no to any or all of these then my brother, Nigeria is not safe.

I live in Ibadan. I can attest to the vigilante part. Very effective. They always let you know when they are aroubd every night by blowing their whistles.

Don't get me wrong, which state in the North have enjoyed 5 years of absolute peace?
Are u trying to tell me that states like Jigawa, Niger, Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina, Gombe, Zamfara, Kwara and Kogi are much more safe that most states in the south or almost all the state listed by the OP? This is just pure ignorance and hypocrisy display by u and the OP.
Imagine saying city like Lagos and Benin being more safe than the listed I listed. Just imagine.

naijainfogalery:
what do you mean by safest - Safest would be void of terrorism , kidnapping, thuggery, militancy etc

Most of the states in The west would fit into this category, some states in the east and very few in the north

Dont wanna list states before i start getting abusive mentions cheesy
Have you forgotten that the problem in the north is largely of Boko Haram? Even this is chiefly at the North Eastern part.

Safety in this context is relative and does not mean absence of violence. If it were not so, then the whole South East is not a contender because armed robbery, kidnapping and human ritualism have their major factories there. grin grin grin
