So Nigeria just witnesses a smooth transition from one democatic government to another on this joyous Democracy Day. As a way of encouraging democracy in Nigeria and Africa as a continent let us have a mature and interactive opinion poll not to celebrate individuals but to encourage those who are still seated to always do the right thing. The value we give to a thing determines the desire for it. In Africa we dont value such things because as a race we don't celebrate them. So if our leaders see how much we value these honours they will desire to have them. ********************* And I set the ball rolling. AFRICA: Nelson Mandela. It is great virtue to sit for just one term and this man did it NIGERIA: Goodluck Jonathan. No leader ever gave free hand to the INEC like this man or accepted the will of the people in good fate. He could have monitored the voting pattern in Aso Rock but he chose to let the people follow their conscience. Its over to you nairalanders |

1)he was given 50k by PDP agents and had to manipulate result..
2)they thumb printed left-over ballot papers..
3)in-fact results were released in favor of PDP without counting at ALL. |

Habayomie:lol you missed it in too things; 1. It is called an opinion poll so that you will say choice whether IBB, OBJ etc and give reasons. Not for you to challenge my opinion or do you want to have both my choice and yours. 2. I never mentioned political parties I mentioned heads of states. Well you can still give your poll as you have not yet done so. |
