Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has
promised interested industrialists and investors an
assistance of $2m and plots of land to any
investor, who will invest in the state.


He stated this on Friday at the Imo International
Convention Centre, during a dinner to mark his
second term inauguration in office.

Okorocha said, “We are willing to give $2m,
parcels of land and other incentives to attract
industrialists to our state, so that our youths can
get jobs. Industry plus factory equal to wealth
creation; that is what we are going to do.”


He explained that the state government was having
crucial talks with industrialists from Turkey and
South Africa to build factories in the state.

The governor added that Senator Ifeanyi Araraume,
Chief Jerry Chukwueke and Chief Tony Chukwune,
among those that recently defected to the All
Progressives Congress, had promised to build two
industries each in the state.

lol..but govt should not have any biz running company because it would never work...lol @ fronting white men..by the way I heard govt has stopped giving approval for building of hotels...the hotel thing don too much

if govt start the company, they lease or privatise it. For the fronting, this is Nigeria, many people have become millionaires by been used as "Frontees " , well let's see how it goes

@lygn19, go look for any colored person and tag him an investor, but if you finally succeed, don't use the land and money to build hotel oh

Yeah he does but he wants d contractors to use their own cash to develop imo, while he flenjors with the state fund. I know of 2 contractors that r in debt with the banks because of his promises, they went to borrow from banks to start off only to realised they have been scammed.
