I recently attended a wedding only to discover that the parent of the bride and siblings did not attend. On enquiry, I was told the brides immediate family members attends the Jehovah witness while the groom attends The Redeem. What surprises me most is that the bride is the last born of seven children all female and unmarried between 38 and 27. After years of persuasion, the extended family of the bride stood in, collected what was to be collected and gave out the girl in marriage. I wish them hml but the question is at what point can a line be drawn between family values and religion.

They suppose they thank God say their sister don help them break the curse of marriagelssness....

I don't think there will be any problem here if the girl in question accept to shed the jw aspect of her life and move on with the guy(which is very rear and difficult) but if other wise I bet u this marriage will not last a year, mark my word

No other reason other than that for Jehovah witness, marriage outside the church is marriage or affinity with unbelievers. More so, the girl in question had left the church to Redeem where the guy saw her and both agreed to marry. Meaning that her parent had already rejected her for leaving their faith before the marriage issue also came up.
