What started like a joke around 2003/2004 where we had a high prevalence of kidnappings for ransom of foreign oil workers in the Niger-Delta has now become a national plague. According to the United Nations Human Rights Watch Nigeria now ranks 3rd in kidnapping prevalence globally. These kidnappers spare no one - doctors, lecturers, students, business people, politicians and foreigners, etc. The families of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Viola Onwuliri, Chimamanda Adichie, Former President Goodluck Jonathan, chibok girls have also not been spared. Personally I know 3 people in the past 2 years that have also been kidnapped. The next person might just be you or your family member. We must stop this cancer by urging President Mohammadu Buhari to sign into law, capital punishment for kidnapping in Nigeira. We must join hands together to stop this menace before it totally destroys any image left of our country. Sign this petition today and share with friends for the love of our country Nigeria! PMB will listen!

Let us collectively show that Nairanders can get a very important bill signed into law from a petition promoted on an anonymous forum of Nigerians that deeply care for Nigeria. A death penalty for kidnapping will go a long way to stop this menace, among the many that plague our nation. I can tell you the president will support this. He just wants to know if majority of Nigerians will support it so it won't look like being a dictator. Friends desperate times call for desperate measures. Together we can make this happen. Yes with time, but PMB has been so pained that kidnappings seems to be going on withouth any recompense. He is focused on signing this bill as far as the youths are in support of it. We need at least 5000 signatures to convince him. I assure you he is in support!

Corruption is already a crime and is punishable by law, all PMB needs to ensure is that the laws are enforced. You are doing yourself or your family no good. Really! GEJ was kidnapped, Okonjo's relative was kidnapped etc and you are here supporting your friends who are kidnappers.

I pray either your father or one of your relatives is kidnapped by your acclaimed 'SS and SE friends': I believe you will realize the effect of this menace through this.

Although kidnapping is a serious offense, i do not believe it is worth the dealth penalty. If you suggest death penalty for kidnapping, then what do you suggest for murder, armed robbery, drug trafficking, human trafficking, oil bunkering and the father of all crimes - official stealing? You are invariably suggesting that all criminal offenses should attract the death penalty.

It is stealing by public officials that is responsible for the unreasonable rise in violent crimes like armed robbery and kidnapping couple with an equally corrupt police and judiciary. In the Nigerian system, it is only the poor foot soldiers that would be tried and killed, the rich kingpins usually buys their way out of justice.

I recall when Oshiomole signed the bill in edo state into law. Some people then tried to justify kidnapping with Unemployment in the nation. But taking a deep look into things, it should not be so. It is sickening how Nigerians try to justify crime with unemployment. As a matter of facts, there is no unemployment in Nigeria, what you have is waywardness brought about by pride. The government cannot employ everybody, it is not done anywhere not even in the old USSR or Cuba which ran and are still running some level of socialism.


CramJones, you are doing the right thing in making a push towards signing the bill into law and honestly i would have done even more^_ no court trial, catch them in the act and execute them on the spot. Everybody cannot be Bill Gates or Dangote. Family and social values have long been lost among Nigerians and we no longer know what will become of the generations born since the 80s who have never known any form of decency. Imagine a 60 years old man who is supposed to advice the young against evil is neck deep in the trade, he is supposed to be shot and fed to vultures.Humility in Nigeria and among Nigerians now means stupidity, ¨mumu¨ while a son or daughter who is a thief and cannot be trusted with any responsibility is the smart and wise one. The laws are now only on paper and not in the mind of anyone anymore. Those who are supposed to be the custodians of the law are themselves demon children and thieves.

Democracy, politicians rule is not designed for Nigeria whether you like to hear it or not. The mind of the black man/Nigerian is too evil to allow mutual respect and regards for one another which is what democracy is all about. What Nigerians deserve and what will work best is give your instructions with a horse whip in hand, at the slightest sign of falling out of line correct such a mistake with a whip on the head and they will fall back in line anything else is a waste of time.

It is time to start executing people in this country to restore sanity. I am an advocate of death penalty and I believe some crimes should be punished by death.

Rapists should be executed

Terrorists should be executed

Kidnappers should be executed

Fake drug/hard drug dealers should be executed.

Murderers/money ritualists should be executed

Human rights groups campaigning against the death sentence should go to hell and join Satan there. Don't tell me that it is bad to dispatch these despicable set of people to hell because when they harm/kill their victims, they show no mercy at all.
