Some states are just unlucky with leaders. At a time when every other state and even the FG is talking of cutting overhead costs, a state like Ebonyi which is in dire need of capital projects is creating a ministry of religion?

...and someone thinks the problems of the south-east would be automatically solved if we have Biafra?... even when we still have such clueless people as leaders and statesmen?

Nigeria is a secular state....in case anyone forgot.

Some of these state govs.....right now youth unemployment is high, no industries, poverty....and all we can think of is a Ministry of Religion?

Someone please tell these lazy governors...we voted you to work, not to play at being theologians. It is not your job.

Foolish move! Politics and religion should not cross path. That is why Nigeria spends 1% of the National budget on pilgrimage when we don't have housing and healthcare. However, when you look at how much the Northern part of Nigeria has integrated religion with politics; You'd expect the christian dominated region to do the same. Is Nigeria even a secular state?
