This is just terrible. It is the kind of politics jonathan brought us when he made Oritsejafor one of the most visible faces in his admin, jumping from one church to another to curry political favours, kneeling and genufecting before every hypocritical MOG, all of which amounted to nothing.

They use these churches and religious establishments as a launchpad for their selfish political aspirations. Now it has been taken to a whole new level by having it institutionalised!!

It's not a new thing and Ex President Goodluck didn't start it. Some Northern states have had similar ministries long before now, I can't remember which state but there was a state that had a even budget for clerics that prayed for the state.

I'm surprised southerners are just catching up.

This is the job creation he obviously promised during the campaigns. All the religions within the state will be represented to ensure fifa er, fair play.

They can even organise inter-denominational, inter- departmental, inter-religious and inter-etc events.
Then they can also pray whenever wages are being delayed, price of crude is dipping or when impeachment threat hangs over the governor

This visionary leader of ebonyi state has surveyed the landscape, and discovered that Ebonyi state was lagging behind the national average in Gross National Bullshytes( GNB) and Gross National Lunacy (GNL).

The IQ levels in Ebonyi state have been rising over past few dacades, and this is a worrisome trend this new visionary leader wants to roll back with this new ministry of religion.

This governor simply wants his state to get with the programm before the rapture.
