You are a morally bankrupt fellow. During the Niger Delta insurgency there were deaths of both Civilians and Soldiers. Calling the deaths of innocent Civilians "collateral damage" doesn't make the crime less heinous.

Boko Haram has so far been far more deadlier than the Niger Delta Militants were, but they're still both terrorists. A man who kills one person is a murderer just like another who kills 100 people.
why do u think ND millitant were called MILLITANT and BH called TERORIST?

Pls provide rational answers to the question I asked you based on ur reward plea for killers!

If Nigeria is invaded by another country, what will you grant or reward the country with?

Remember u have already rewarded boko haram with amnesty for killing innocent Nigerians?

if u didn't reject IJN the idea of granting amnesty to killers then why bring in Jesus in the question I asked u?

If granting them amnesty would end the killings and bombings, so be it, afterall, Niger Delta militants were granted amnesty, what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

What we need is an end to all the killings.
Niger Delta militants were not brainless nitwits fueled with religious extremism, they fought for a course we all saw.

Now tell me which course is Boko Haram fighting for?. They should be blown to smithereens!. Giving them amnesty will be a slap to the face of those they're ruthlessly slaughtered!.

I leave the issue to the discretion of our C in C, he is capable of making the right decision.

It's simple. Boko Haram members are believed to be muslims that is why they're called terrorists. The Lord Resistance Army in Uganda led by Joseph Koni that does the same thing as Boko Haram has never been called a terrorist group. Africans, emancipate yourselves from mental slavery.
There is nothing Boko Haram commits today that European colonialists in Africa and Hitler didn't commit in Africa, how many times have they been called terrorists?

Yes! We remember GEJ making right decision when he offered them amnesty he kept mute when many died. Never forget, take taking an action is the same thing as taken action.

I sympathise with people in the North, but the idea of Amnesty is ZERO! If the terrorists want pardon they should drop their weapons, name their sponsors, turn a new leaf and be asked to GO and Sin No More but no single kobo should be spent on them. Otherwise, the Northern Elders should cooperate with the Military to flush out the bastards.
In as much as I don't like your way or manner of opposition, I'll align with you on this. PMB should not entertain any call from anybody to grant boko haram amnesty.

He shouldn't allow the thought to creep into his mind. The ONLY solution I see here is that of intensified Military action.

I've not read anywhere in the world where terrorists are granted AMNESTY. Moreover, with a depleted reserve thanks to your Oga GEJ, I don't know how they'll fund it.

Even if they had the funds, it would me morally wrong and an insult to the victims of their menacing activities over the past 5 years.

Look at how you are struggling with your own reasoning faculty!

I asked you a simple question by referencing ur own comment and you are here blabbing.

If you can't defend ur own comments with superior reasoning and logic then why make comments you can't defend?

brother, this is Nigeria and the issue on ground is on the security situation but your example is another case entirely.

you can't compare how you will handle international issue with local issue. this is happening in our country and we are left to face our situation ourselves.

@ Jorlons "He shouldn't allow the thought to creep into his mind.

Military action"

That part of your post I totally agree with. It is expected that the retired general "lead" the charge against the terrorists as he claimed he would at Chatham.

So any thoughts of amnesty or ceasefire or other form of peaceful resolution will simply not do and show him in a bad light as a LIAR and FRAUD to the world at large. Most importantly it will prove the conspiracy theories of the "north" as the puppet master of the insurgents right.

Time will tell......

Ending terrorism in Nigeria can be approached in two stages.

First, intensify intelligent military operations within the region. And this has to be done with all form of seriousness not like the way it was handled by the previous administration. Once you can fully minimize their activities, stage two can then be implemented and that is:

Re-orientation. Part of the problem we're facing in the north, is their gullibility, and this can be traced to the high rate of illiteracy in that region.

I tell you, you can turn an uneducated christian into an extremist, it's very easy. There has to be a way to get these northerners to go to school. Also, the muslim leaders can't afford to rest on their oars, every form of enlightenment they can give, they should.

A wide awareness campaign, in every state both in English, Arabic, and their local language should be used to enlighten these folks.

The reason I can't tell you to go and kill for Jesus is because you are learned, very sound in reasoning as a result of your education and so you can always find out on your own if truly that's what the Bible say.

Both stages can only be implemented by a serious Government, serious political and Religious leadership in the north and a general support from the entire Nation.
