OREMUSSANCTUS:What a shame And come to think of it, some peeps r here clapping for SR.who r practicing "modern day" journalism. Just because the man has what it takes to withstand modern white colonialist machinations, he has been demonised and Sahara reporters, true to their already known trademark think it an opportunity to "expose n shame" mugabe so as to be patted with cheap popularity by western press. Fyi,most white peeps still view u guys as monkeys as well. Keep monkeying around Sahara Reporters. |

You should watch her show on youtube - keeping it real with adeola - she's been pretty vocal about Nigerian politicians as well, and pretty much did the same thing to Jonathan. cap28: |

Henry120:Can you just read your comment? Now ask yourself and those that liked your comment .. What system of government is being practiced in U. K? Parliamentary! Quite correct. For your info. UK is the perfect example of Parliamentary system of government. It's allows them to preserve there Heritage. And every English approved of it. Now. Does every Zimbabweans approve Mugabe? Angela Merkel is doing are third term. So what? Does she have to amend Germany's Constitution to do it? Only in your book can that be juxtaposed that with Mugabe's 30 years? |

| Re: Telegraph UK Praises Sahara Reporter's Journalist For Thrashing Mugabe by AreaFada2: 3:11am On Jun 04, 2015 |
ayindejimmy:. Well, to have the right to approve of any government, you have to first have a free country. Mugabe took up arms to drive colonial masters out. The land issue at hand was a result of that war. He used land redistribution promise to keep soldiers fighting with him against white rulers. The same Brits talking of democracy didn't give native Zim people full voting rights, Mugabe did! And thats's barely 36 years ago. Remember, not everyone in UK approves of the monarchy. Yearly, some people reject honours (like KBE/DBE, CBE, OBE, MBE) from the Queen because they disapprove of monarchy. Republicans/anti-monarchists might be a minority, but they exist and are vocaL>. Sure, Mugabe should have stepped down on the eve of the millenium like Boris Yeltsin, but I guess he's doing it out of defiance now. |

When did harassment became part of a reporters responsibility , Mugabe came to Nigeria in good faith and should have been treated as well. It is okay if there were protests against him on the streets not a celebrity-wannabe showing how unprofessional she is. I am not surprised though because you can't work with an organization whose chief duty is lying and spying and remain unscathed. |

StepTwo:They did ooo.. Have you forgotten their reportage was part of what made GEJ loose d election? If you follow SR closely, you'll know that their main aim is to expose Governments of almost every country. Just follow them closely through all their platforms, then you'll understand what SR is all about. One thing I like about them is that, they make sure they have a Lil proof of something before publishing... I love their style of journalism. |

I am no supporter of the gerontocratic leader Mugabe is. I am simply at odds with how one African, exemplifying the Op and Ms Fayehun, seem(s) propping as a matter of agency, urgently with a Western stylised (sp) against one Bob Mugabe. I think, strictly speaking, it reflects the double standard of self rancour on the part of Africans. What is really saddening is how white imperialism will not ever side with the mighty black men. Be careful not to delude yourselves, and embrace neo-liberal pan-Africanism. |

Duru1:It's sad to say, I think Nigeria as Africa's largest country has let the entire African continent and the black race down. Instead of us supporting Mugabe and Zimbabwe with their economic and social policies, which they believe would make life better for the common man in Zimbabwe, we rather take sides with the west and support their sanctions which have crippling effect on the country, hence making the common poor black man suffer. Watch what happens when he is gone from power. It would be interesting to see if the country would still be at peace or if they would fall into war and fighting like we see in Libya. Who is benefiting from all this? Who's guns are they buying? |

AreaFada2:Take over? I'm sure if you investigate properly you may find out those land were sold to them by the locals. Go to London and see how Nigerians, especially Yoruba have taken over most businesses. By sending those farmers away they don't know what they've missed. Other African countries invited those farmers over and gave them free land. How about that? http://news.biafranigeriaworld.com/archive/2004/aug/01/076.html |

ayindejimmy:. The same London am chatting from? We are professionals here, many at least, after some 3 to 10 years of serious education and training and gradually earning your spurs by dint of hard work . The only business dominated by Nigerians here is pentecostal church, which the British never were keen on in the first place. Those land were literally forcefully taken or by coercion. Seems you don't know the history. Now sovereign countries are inviting Arabs and Asians and some Westerners based on mutual agreement and sharing formula, under the laws of those African countries, not imposed lopsided colonial laws. They can be kicked out if they the comply. |
