You can now see why i said they destroyed him in his U-17 days he was trained to be a creative midfielder and perfected that role and all of a sudden he found himself playing as an attacker with Man City. Here with his coach that brought him out and into stardom we know him as a creative midfielder. That's what these foreign clubs do to players. Look at Oboabona the same happened to him too

After Nacho played as a striker, Coach Manu Garba admitted Nacho has the best finishing technique he ever saw. The boy is a striker and the City coaches were right.

Nacho is working under the coach that trained Messi. Remember Messi started as a creative midfielder too. Same with Aguero and Tevez.

This is a football discuss and you have no right to term his comment as being fooolish, if you cannot convince him to agree with you, then swerve and not be rude. You do not have the sole right to analysis and you do not know it all. Stop being unnecessarily belligerent on a social platform.

You cannot blame LeeCodeMan when that guy calls Nacho hype. I mean, come on. What is the guy's reason for calling him a hype. Because, he did not do well in a game?

Well not every player has that gift of switching roles successfully it doesn't matter if Manu Garba admitted or not,if he truly and sincerely did,he would not ask him to continue in his role as a creative midfielder,a complete football team is a whole entity and each player has his role in this team,he was trained to perform the role of a creative midfielder you don't expect the coach to change that in seconds because the coach that trained aguero,Messi and tervez has decided to change him to an attacker remember that this guy is still young and a bit more inexperienced..

I am not blaming Coach Manu. He tried to accommodate the team. He believes Awoniyi and is not ready to bench him. That is why Nacho and Success did not attack. But, the truth is Nacho is doing well. In the Youth sidue of City, he is doing amazing numbers. I think six goals in seven games.

Nacho will get his chance to show his development. He is doing well adapting to his new role. Coming back to play a different role was not ideal.

Coach Manu might want him to play as a mid fielders but clubs want winning scorers and pay big money for Bale, Neymar, Suarez, Ronaldo. They are fighting to get a Messi or Aguero.

That is the kind of player Nacho is now.

Nigeria scored two goals in the first half against Brazil yet we ended up losing 4-2. Sometimes its better to scope out the match in the first half rather than going all out for goals and then leaving yourself open at the back.

Whether you score in the first half or score all your goals in the second half or score in the last second of second half extra time, all you have to do is win. No one will remember how you won later, only that you won.
I agree with your second paragraph but everything in football is based on strategies. We lost against Brazil not because Brazil were superior but our keeper gifted them two goals. Do you ever wonder why the team with the advantage are a times less ambitious in the second half? Psychologically, it happens like that.

I am surprised that you are supporting him i said and i quote forget the "hype" by the foreign media. Is the word hype a big problem here? If it is check it out it shouldn't be a big issue. That's what the foreign media is good at.. Especially in England that's why their players are not that good.

Now you are talking, you know why sometimes i feel this foreign clubs are not being fair to our african players? Look at Neymar he's commanding a first team shirt at Barcelona, but if it were to be an African player that was that good they would bring up some flimsy excuse. Haven't you noticed that?

Amnnot impressed a bit with Manu,s selection. He's got big problem playing some key players in wrong positions while holding tight to guys he prosecuted the African championship with.
The lack lacked crisp passes and defence splitting passes, too many loose and lost balls. With the kind of opposition Korea is, our boys messed up cuz we should raise our game if we want to go far.
Scoring goals will not stop you from losing but holding balls, accurate passes and defence splitting passes will.
Hungary is not going to be easy at all for us, they will pounce on us with all they got.
Manu is yet to get a winning team cuz today's match is far lower in standard to the first.
Wish them the best

My take on this is you can't fault a coach that started with him from the scratch because he's now playing for a foreign club. Well if he's developing for ManCity alone as an attacker he would have to learn to be able to switch or return to his previous role as a creative midfielder anytime he comes back to Nigeria for a national assignment

Your point is a big problem. Many true African talents suffer. I understand your sceptism but it is different with City.

We have an academy in Ghana and we are signing African players. Nacho and Nwakali joined the team for the preseason before they turned 18.

The coaches want the best for them unlike other coaches who push the European and South American boys and let the Africans suffer.

Coach Pellegrini is talking of bringing Nacho into the main team. It shows they are serious about his progress. I hope Nigerians get to see Nacho attack. He is phenomenal.

You know this has been our biggest problem, this is what kills the young talents that we have harnessed through our age grade competitions

I say let them all fight for the role for who to lead the attack. That is Success, Nacho, Awoniyi and Iwobi. Let the best among them lead the line. Any other thing is sentimental selection and sacrificing a good talent to favor another.

Man City is training Nacho to be the World Best player. If the others can not meet up, then Nacho deserves to spearhead the attack.

And that was the exact step that Coach Manu Garba took which led to the benching of Nacho truth be told, the fact that he reported to camp late too would have affected him to an extent too, that is another factor that we didn't look at..
