They own us. I'll give up on the government and Nigeria fully if they regard the report at all. Wtf is with the west? Using Boko haram to terrorize us and using Amnesty intl to prevent us from fighting back?/( that's my own theory anyway, might be wrong). I'm forced to remember George Carlin. Below is a statement from him.

Forget the politicians. They are irrelevant. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don’t. You have no choice! You have OWNERS! They OWN YOU. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought—and paid for—the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, the city halls, they got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies, so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. They got you by the balls.
They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying, lobbying, to get what they want. Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I’ll tell you what they don’t want:
They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well-informed, well-educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. That’s against their interests.
That’s right. They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table and think about how badly they’re getting bleeped by a system that threw them overboard 30 bleeping years ago. They don’t want that!
You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers, people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork. And just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shitty jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street—and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you sooner or later ‘cause they own this bleeping place! It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it! You, and I, are not in the big club.
By the way, it’s the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head with their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table has tilted, folks. The game is rigged and nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care! Good honest hard-working people; white collar, blue collar it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on. Good honest hard-working people continue—these are people of modest means—continue to elect these rich rooster suckers who don’t give a Bleep about you….they don’t give a Bleep about you… they don’t give a Bleep about you.
They don’t care about you at all… at all… AT ALL. And nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care. That’s what the owners count on. The fact that Americans (Nigerians) will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that’s being jammed up their assholes everyday
You are %100 right. My prayer is that buhari and his advisers should open their eyes in their dealings with these western powers cos they v double standard approach towards every thing, as far as it serves their interests while ours are not taken into consideration.

The soldiers Ihejirika, Minimah and Badeh have court martialed don't have human rights? Were they not fighting Boko Haram when the same people sought funny legal reasons to court martial them? Let every one responsible answer questions according to the gravity of their commission and omission. What is done in Nigerian can be done anywhere in the world. If Ihejirika, Badeh and Minimah can use Olukolade to paint our own soldiers with blood, Amnesty International can, as well, paint them with blood.they are only to clear their names and nothing more. Why are you being jittery when you're not the ones charged. AI is not accusing Nigeria but certain criminals who must answer those questions. The question of sovereignty is an illusion in this case. ICC doesn't try a State, it tries individuals.

Amnesty international have never condemned what Boko Haram are doing but they kept attacking the our military hierarchy. Look Mr President should ignore their rantings and face his business. Is it possible to kill a bedbugs that hides in a mart without tampering with the mart ? These are questions we need to ask them.

Is this not ridiculous, to call for a charge against former and serving soldiers with war crimes against humanity for engaging in a fierce battle with boko haran in a bid to secure territorial integrity of Nigeria?

This heinous move, has further shown that the West and her American ally are dissatisfied with Nigeria for not breaking up in 2015 general elections.

Amnesty International, stay off the track of Nigeria and focus more on Quantanamo Bay where atrocities are committed not only against humanity but also against God.

Going through the comments one would understand why Africans/Nigerians are regarded as monkeys.
AI has done an investigation and released a report on the genocide perpetrated by the Nigerian Army on Nigerian people in the fight against Boko haram, and some dumb persons here are talking about Obama's crime in the middle east, bla bla bla; even with out reading the report or watching the documentary.
For Christ sake, this crimes where perpetrated on NIGERIANS by their own army and not on Ghanaians or Egyptians.
This report is damming and must be investigated. How do you condemn thousands of people to death based only on been identified or pointed out by ONE of your informant? No interrogation or investigation to ascertain your ONE informant's claim.
This is the reason the army is not making a head way in the fight against Boko haram. The people in that region see the army as their enemy and would likely not assist them with required information.

Please before you run your mouth like a brain dead mammal, read the AI report or better still watch the video on you tube so that you can have a grasp of what is been talked about.

U people re just making noice. They need be tried and if found guilty let them face the law.
Meanwhile for some people that re presently goin against the decision of AI just want us to believ this popularly says among the victims of BOTH Boko haram and our millitary men on the side that, GEJ with the help of some of his associates wz revengin for Igbo.

Who knws maybe BH has long bn conqaured.

I knw I wll surely be vindicated of what I commented then the moment my friend' bro waz among those wa killed by our millitaries then and which the did pronounced it as bn a mistake.

To those poeple that re goin against this move without conductin ur own investigation is not just only unfair but also may be ajudged as an anti- humane spirit.

So let us all join our hands and see how it goes cos I knw GOD wll neva oppress. If they re not guilty GOD wll definitely find ways of settin them free. And if at the same time they re guilty but stll escape the punishement, GOD shall track them down either in this life or in the next life.

They should be investigated and tried if found culpable
If found culpable of fighting boko haram or what? The army has been fighting these animals with their hands tied behind their backs, yet you are complaining. Who cares about the rights of those hapless Nigerians boko haram have beheaded? Boko haram's latest video showed them slaughtering and shooting helpless civilians, policemen and a soldier. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSJ4p4p_EEA

Could it be that the new senator elect from Kaduna State "comrade" Shehu Sani a staunch member of Amnesty International is the one pushing this wild agenda? Your guess is as good as mine. There appears to be a strong connection here, going by his often inflammable rhetoric s on this so-called human rights abuse of Amnesty International.

The present government will do well not to fall into this carefully crafted trap designed to serve powerful religious interests in the north. This is complete distraction for a new government that is barely trying to settle down. Next agenda is to ceaselessly start bombarding the government to give complete amnesty to boko haram in order to have peace. For starters boko haram has gone beyond this government and Nigeria. It has aligned itself with the Islamic state in the levant - calling itself as Islamic state in West Africa. This war MUST continue to the bitterest end, no more no less!

If Nigeria government gives in to these unhealthy man hurt, the military will be weakened... There morale will drop.
And Boko Haram menance will then, have a strong ground knowing too well that they are been shielded by AI. They should go prosecute George Bush for invading Iran for nothing.

Has Amnesty Int. also watched the many boko harams atrocious and barbaric videos on Youtube before writing their reports. The Question still remains - what is the human right of those that boko haram has slaughtered wholesale and not to even talk of wanton looting and destruction of properties, accompanied with displacement of thousands of helpless victims?.

Why is it that AI never talk of the victim's human rights. What criteria do they use in judging an army that is fighting with her "hands tied behind her back" so to say. If they fight boko haram its a problem. If collateral damage ensues as a result of this attacks it's a problem. If they don't fight back to defend civilians it's a problem. If they kill boko haram members in the course of fighting it's a problem. The army is right in its response to the amnesty nonsense as a calculated attempt to discredit the Nigerian army and smear the name of officers in a well orchestrated campaign rooted in mischief.
