AreaFada2:I'm glad you said you live in London. That means you'll identify the facts when you read it. http://www.kemifilani.com/2015/04/rich-nigerians-are-gradually-taking.html?m=1 http://emn-news.com/wealthy-nigerians-boosting-up-londons-rich-property-market-says-reports/ Admitted the scenario is different cos they're doing it through investment. But you must admit that those white people Mugabe chased, most of them were born in Zimbabwe and they don't know any other country. They see themselves as Zimbabweans. What's the point in chasing them? Did they take all the lands? Were the lands taken with force? Can't black Zimbabweans invest in agriculture too and compete with them? Nigeria will be glad if we have such people investing in our agriculture, a sector that as seen neglect over the years. Zimbabweans are regretting the actions now because they lack the experience to manage such farms. http://m.mgafrica.com/article/2015-02-27-mugabe-admits-land-reform-blunder-regrets-giving-ill-equipped-black-farmers-big-fields#.VXAHczNw2IA |

ayindejimmy:. Nigerians are taking money from Nigeria to invest in UK. Much of the money stolen from you. That's what it is. Russians and Gulf Arabs have been doing this for like 2 decades now. There's something you don't understand. Imagine the British remained longer in Nigeria and cornered 80% of farmland among about 10,000 white descendants, leaving nearly 170,000,000 to share the remaining 20%, often poorer quality land. Would that be acceptable if eventually Nigerians take up arms and drive out colonial masters? After the war & independence, should we then allow 10,000 white descendants keep the 80% land that their ancestors seized from us just because they made the law that made them Nigerians? Please before commenting, try learning about history, not all these google cut and paste things. |

StOla:So what answers did the reporter get ? She went to interview Mugabe, will you say that she succeeded? She was not intelligent enough to get Mugabe's audience and you want us to praise her, right ? Smart journalist would have gotten Mugabe to address the issues she raised, even if briefly. But, she could not. She should enrol for further training, I suggest. |

Henry120:you ran away from the history lesson before they finished teaching the history of the british empire the queen doesnt own the land across the world, she just the head of the common worth world aka (former states) a ceremonial post as how much it costs who cares especially you and me we are non british, if the british start to complain on how much they spend on keeping her then we say they have an issue with their monarch as for now they aint complaining so why should you worry about them ? yes they knighted him for that period he had a good understanding with them, were they suspposed to predict the future and not knight him because he will turn against one of the ruling government ? |

Foreign Affairs / Re: Zimbabwe Minister Outraged At Saharareporters And Nigeria (pics) - Cramjones by stag: 9:58am On Jun 02 EmmyDe25: Thats Adeola Fayehun. Simply dumb of her. Expected more. I think the presidency needs to make a public pronouncement on this. Cramjones Saharareporters need to come out and strongly condemn such behaviours and tender apologies not only to Zimbabwe but to Nigerians too. Imaging asking "where is that Zuma sef" like they were savages let loose on rampage to hack down visiting presidents. Dignitaries will begin to wonder and get more suspicious when honoring our ceremonies next time. |

naijainfogalery:Your write up reminds me of omissions that let Hitler become the monster he was because people that should speak up lacked the foresight and fortitude to talk when it mattered most. They went about appeasing Hitler and letting him grab whatever he wanted as far the powers that be, UK, France were not directly threatened. They even agreed with him to divide Czechoslovakia without the courtesy of even inviting the Checkz to attend the meeting and they called it the Munich agreement peace for our time in 1938. The result was war the following year. The truth is Hitler was sorely afraid of what the powers would do each time he made his probing, daring moves at land grabbing. The same way African leaders are sorely afraid of what the people would so they need moderates like you to soften and demotivate anyone from speaking up. Hitler had genuine admirers and supporters just as Mugabe has die-hard supporters and he has the mantra of liberator to the boot to continue to hoodwink people. As if colonial powers only ruled Africa, what of Asians who have since moved on and are transforming their society and building a working system not the caricature in Zimbabwe where nobody has any idea what happens after Mugabe. Can we honestly say he has with his long reign built a stable enduring system for his country or he has brought them full circle to the beginning point in 1980? Can he be classed in same category like other long reigning leaders like Yew of Singapore? If he had achieved a little of what happened in Singapore, without emasculating opposition and left at a reasonable time to allow the system he built play out before his eyes not when he is dead, who would begrudge him? Is it not obvious he has done everything including many foul means to remain in power? These are the reasons he doesn't deserve the kind of respect you mention here. And if Adeola fayehun is not passionate about African issues, you expect Amanpour to be the beacon of light and her methods the very best? As far as i know the Zimbabwean people did not bargain for absolute monarchy so comparing him with Queen Elizabeth by a previous poster is moot. |

Agwoden:I guess you will feel cool if Obasanjo, Jonathan or Buhari after been elected president decide they are the best thing since slice bread and refuse to hand over power again by claiming to be African leader. Will it make you a slave because you ask any of them to quit the office as at when due? Why will you recommend what you can't accept for Zimbabweans for crying out loud? |

kernel504:Your definition of leadership is very poor if you are enamored by the shenanigans of Mugabe in Zimbabwe. Were even African countries like Botswana, Namibia and Mozambique not liberated from colonial powers? Which of their own founding fathers has constituted a millstone on the necks of citizens willing to drag everyone down along just to remain president? African mentality is why we remain the least achieving specie of the human race. See the way the Eastern Europeans clinically weaned themselves from communist rule, if it were Africans we'd be saddled with your type preaching respect the leaders, God installed leaders, touch then not, and other inanities. |
