Massive flooding in Ghana’s capital swept stored fuel into a nearby fire, setting off a huge explosion at a gas station that killed 90 people and set alight neighboring buildings, authorities said Thursday.

The explosion took place as dozens sought shelter in gas station and nearby shops in central Accra to escape the torrential rains and charred bodies were left scattered through the whole site.
According to Al Jazeera, most of the victims had sought shelter at the station due to heavy rain.
Sources say the blast was caused by flooding.
The flooding swept stored fuel into a nearby fire, setting off a huge explosion at a gas station.
The flooding “caused the diesel and petrol to flow away from the gas station and a fire from a nearby house led to the explosion,” said Billy Anaglate, spokesman for Ghana’s national fire service.
Initial reports said 73 bodies had been found, but the figure later increased to 90, according to Citifmonline.

Ahhh! what's happening! just on monday or so, it was a tanker explosion at Onitsha, now this! In a world where out next breath is not guaranteed, We should live our Lives with eternity in view. If you die this second, where will you spend eternity?
