We all due respect lalasticlala, we want to know why you locked the below thread?

But the reason you gave was that it was already stale. A news as recent as last year is stale to you but some news over 10years are allowed to hit the front page.

However, we do not care how long the news has been what is important here is that it is a news worthy of publicity because the fact that it has not seen this board is a testament that it is nairaland-worthy.

Please kindly unlock the said thread so that people can learn a thing or two about building collapse and its causes.

Chino,the thread was wiped out when Nairaland was hacked so it has no records. I remember vividly the thread made front page and i commented on it.

Lalasticlala is using his position to intimidate, bully and assault members. This is totally unacceptable..

The Buhari news made front page I relation to another news intended to paint Buhari as owning a house in Abuja. The author also rightly pointed out that it was an old news but it was posted in reaction to the news that Buhari owned a house in Abuja. This event should've indicated that it happened in 2014 and not recent because it's misleading

There are threads that are timeless, that can hit the front page no matter the year it was created. but this particular thread in question is more of an accident sort of. i nearly moved it. but i decided to check the source and date. Thank God i did as thatsaved me from embarrassment... You dont expect to bring up outdated accident scene to the home page..... Thanks
