Can the watch tell the exact time the second coming of jesus Christ will take place?
If no, it's not expensive than my mechanical wrist watch then.

All I see is just metal scrap strapped to leather handles. Vanity upon Vanity equals Vanity fair.

Even if u get to be rich, it doesn't make u stupid.. Time has shown that rich pple don't indulge in stupid things like this, all they do is to make more money. Gates, slim helu, oprah and our very own dangote won't do this shi*. Dangote would rather build a $500million cement plant in ethiopia that would generate billions of dollars. The renowned designer of denim jeans,is rich as f*ck and has a pair of jeans that he hasn't washed for a year, an average naija guy who wants to claim boss will go to oshodi and park sokoto plenty and be claiming "living large". Africans need to reset our mentality.

Have you seen dangotes hand before? How dyu know his watch doesn't even cost more than $2mil
Is it because nothing has been blogged about it yet?
We didn't know minister of agriculture had such a watch until it entered news nau?

In the end it is their money, we weren't there wen they were suffering for it, (and yes, even they average naija guy) so we don't have any right to be disgusted by the way they spend it.
When we make our money, we can spend it on more productive things or even give it all to charity and set the pace for others

No matter how expensive a wrist watch, it can only be used to check time.

cheesy anyways, as for the watch issue, I don't think the first lady's watch should affect anyone's life.

Comparing her "expensive" watch with those up there, all I can say is, "Nigerians, take a moment to stop blaming others for your so called misfortunes and focus on how "you" as an individual can help in bettering your nation."

But seriously, time na money shocked

you are such a wonderful lady l love to have around me. you mentality is actually great. keep the ball rolling. cheers

Thank God our FIRST LADY Aisha BUhari has been vindicated finally. I new this day would come, when all TANoids will bow their heads in shame. Hope you all can see yaselves now.

Aisha Buhari is an elegant woman who doesn't need to wear a 10million naira wrist watch to look classy or sophisticated. I implore all TANdroids to drop their hate for PMB, so you don't end up drowning in shame everytime the truth comes out cause the truth will always come out.

God bless PMB and his family.

from what i understand from your post the fact that Aisha buharis watch wasnt listed then a 10million naira wristwatch is chicken change?

hehehehe...plenty people dey for this world.

Maybe you missed the part where the write-up said the one she wore is not valued at £34500 but rather at $129.

Now if hers is valued at $129, it therefore means that she has need vindicated from the rumours that she wore a 10million naira watch. So maybe you should re-read the write-up to get a better understanding.

Thanks for your opinion, wrist watches of these sorts, art work and other intellectual works are heavy serious investment. While you may not raise an eyebrow, buying a used car at #2'500'000 you may not remember Dangote, or Mr Gates.
Open your eyes,if you buy a car of the value of my watch, banks can never and never give you a loan, because your car is a shit.
I have used that watch to secure some soft loan. What a seasoned banker need do is to verify my watch certificate of quality and call breitling to determine its buy back value, right before you, it will be sprinted away to the banks vault and labelled as asset.
If I am going to europe at any moment cashless let's say today, upon placing this watch at breitling agent desk as quick sale, I will be paid today $11500.
Your used lexus, benz, bmw amounts to nothing.
Maybe when military coups was order of the day, maybe you never knew, politicians or anyother will sprint to europe even without packing a bag, but inside his agbada may be 3 pieces of Rolex, piaget, breitling or a little folded work of art.
Now you know.i

It takes humility to live a simple life even as a billionaire. Unfortunately, we have very few (if any), humble billionaires alive today.

Yes, you are absolutely right, but unfortunately, there are no such billionaires now. I even personally faced similar cases. For example, I have a friend who has a lot of money and know how he makes purchases? He just goes to the store and takes the first product I came across without knowing anything about it. I don’t have much money and I study the product and the reviews there before buying. For example, I recently wanted to buy a watch and first looked at the mvmt watch review and only then I went to the store and bought it. Even when there is money, you need to remain a modest person, and not waste money, forgetting about human qualities.
