Dogara is from Southern Bauchi state in the Northeast of Nigeria, a Christian and minority from the Zar ethnic group popularly refer to as "Sayawa" (a derogatory term giving to them by the Hausa/Fulani) found in Bogoro/Tafawa-Balewa LGs, ...so he will not blindly agree with the president as you imagine and a lot of the core northerners will rather support Gbaja not because he Dogara is not competent or they want fair zoning but they don't want to empower him (Dogara) because he is a Northern Minority and a Christian. If you don't know, most of the Ethno-religious Conflicts you here happen in Bauchi state is at Bogoro/Tafawa Balewa, even during the election mercenaries attack these places!

NOTE...Then Gbaja should drop-out of the contest since he is not only from the same South-west with the V.P but from the same Lagos state.

Op ur analysis is even more myopic. The reason PDP is voting for dogora is for the emerrgence of a strong division in APC. That's curtails the jagaban. And so many ppl would jumpship back. It reduces the grip of tinubu and we the SWest will not follow him anymore making 2019 unite both the SS, SE and SW to destroy the North once again.

I am from Edo State. 40% of Edo People voted for Buhari. Edo State are not among d cry babies over Jonathan in South South.
