https://www.forumspotz.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/fuell.jpg The spate of fuel tanker accidents in Lagos is on the increase as another tanker fell in the state on Sunday morning, June 7 along Lekki-Epe expressway. The fall which happened just after Victoria Garden Cemetery by Forte Oil petrol station was not as ghastly as the previous two, although it is not clear if lives or property were not lost as at the time of filing this report. .Na wa o,the rate at which people who don't use their heads to think take to naira land to comment, is mind blowing. What has buhari got to do with tanker explosions?Is it buhari that also caused the petrol disaster that happened in ghana last week?according to the level of my investigation of this current tankers accident, i have been able to find out that most the tankers falling off the road,do so as a result of over speeding. For over 3weeks now, more than 2000 tankers loaded with petrol have been trapped in Lagos loading depots. Due to the current improvements in traffic congestions, these are in a hurry to deliver their products nation wide.I urge those living in Lagos to be vigilant, as this may not be the last tanker disaster that we will experience, expect there is a massive enlightenment by FRSC. |
