I am reminded of the story of a Christian who was jailed by the Atheistic government of the Soviet Union on false pretenses.He died in jail. His last words were from the Lord's prayer.....Forgive us our tresspasses, even as we forgive those who trespass against us.

Now before you comment...I am a Christian, I have lived in the North, I have had friends and brethren who have been hurt by the actions of fundamentalsits. I have seen it first hand.

But the truth of the matter is that as Christians we are called to be Christ like...and that means forgiving others even when we think they do not deserve it. As Christians, we do not deserve God's forgiveness. We are sinners. God has said it time and again....sin is displeasing to him. But through the mystical yet true and holy sacrifice of Christ Jesus...all of us humans have a means of acceptance by God, and a means of partaking in his glory, and being transformed by his likeness....if we accept it. And like God...we are called to love humanity.

Jesus died because inspite of our sinful nature...infact of the fact that He probably knew that millions would still reject him (and they have)...nevertheless he loved us humans so much that he died for or sins.

And it is that love that must move us. Difficult it may be.

Huge problem is that most of Nigeria below Rivers Niger and Benue are ignorant. Most of them do not even understand that Boko Haram is a religious movement fighting to make Nigeria a country governed with sharia criminal justice system that includes punishing adulterous women by stoning them to death, punishing thieves by cutting off their hands, disallowing women to go out unaccompanied by men, etc. So these Nigerians ruefully hope that one day Boko Haram can be conquered by force.

Only solution to Boko Haram is create a sharia country in the north as indirectly applied by northern leaders when they adopted use of sharia criminal laws beginning year 2000.

If after 4 attempts at being d president u eventually get it and don't even seem to have a plan for running ur govt then it's understandable wen u r termed a dullard.
