May leprosy amputate your already stubby fingers for mentioning Ebonyi in a thread where Osun and Bornu was mentioned.

Hav u been to Benue state, or u only know the state's name

Bros I know Benue State like the back of my hand. I wonder why the list was not expanded to accommodate Benue. If Osun entered the list solely on its inability to pay workers, I wonder why Benue state should be left out. If Abia is on the list partly because of bad roads, then it will be scandalous not to atleast mention Benue. When it comes to insecurity, Benue state is almost comparable to Boko haram ravaged states.

Where is Kogi and Benue states?
Can you state the development that has happened in these two states over some years now?
I may not like Aregbe but in all honesty, Osun shouldn't be there if we're talking about top 3.

Bornu and Abia are taking their deserved spots. I think number 1 should be tie between Benue and Kogi.
Nope KOGI is number 1, how can you even put osun, clearly you didn't do your research well, kogi should replace osun on that list

Osun should NEVER be on this Topic If NOT FOR THE UNPAID SALARIES. DON'T EVER COMPARE OSUN TO ANY OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED STATES.

Salary apart, Osun is one of the Best, Safe place to live in Nigeria. They hardly protest in that state. Check the rate of crime of each states, you will find Osun at the "lowest" group. I haven't seen a state that have the kind of Armoured Personnel Carriers like Osun--merely seeing it will deter Armed Robbers from the state. One thing i still like about the state is that, their O'Ambulance(Osun emergency ambulance) is a success that i wish every states in the federation could emulate. I was in the state sometimes ago, there was a lone accident of a toyota sienna car around past 10 in the night, they called the Emergency line and withen 15mins, the "big" ambulance arrived and took the victim to the state hospital.
In fact, there was a case where the citizens of the state capital were trying to 'test' the "Efficiency, Effectiveness and Response Time of the scheme. They called the Emergency line and reported that an accident had happened at a junction--they gave the perfect description of the place. Surprisingly, the Ambulance arrived few mins later and the crew were shocked when the people handed them a dead fowl that was killed by an Okada rider.

But, i hate one thing in his government-- he lacks Wisdom. The many uncompleted projects that litters the state could have been done one after the other but he went ahead(maybe bcox of re-election) and construct hundreds of projects(schools, roads, markets, airport etc) without proper planning of Finance.

Osun is a Great state and shouldn't be on this List if not for AreGBESE(King of Debt) that failed to pay his workers.

There's no way Osun should be on that list except the list is increased to maybe 10. Osun is no doubt not sufficiently managed but that does not means its as bad as the worst states in Nigeria. I agree with Abia and Bornu. Ebonyi and Ekiti should also make the longer list with Kogi and Benue jostling for top spot.

Even if the list is expanded to 10 states, Ebonyi is not supposed to be there. Nna, try to travel to many northern states, you will have an eerie feeling that time is moving backward. With your comment, I can bet with my salary that it has been more than two years since you visited the state last. I will be disappointed in you if all the facts you know about the state is what you read online.

I wonder why Taraba state is conspicuously missing from that list. Is it deliberate, lack of oversight or both?

You may be right. I usually don't put northern states into consideration because I know little or nothing about those places. Having said that, Ebonyi is one of the most poorly governed states.

Can you just hear ur self. You are comparing delta state with a place you have not been to. Where exactly are u serving in delta state that look like 1950s. The problem with some of us is that when they post us to some villages in any state. We use that village to generalize the entire state.

I think anyone with common sense would note that the reason I mentioned 'not being to Osun' first is to point out that this is a straight opinion not hinged on comparison between the two, but your first statement shows how blinded you are to that scenario, spoiling for a fight instead with any who doesn't speak good of Delta State. The '1950' tag is in comparison to where I label 'village' in Imo State. Ndokwa East is where I'm posted. In comparison, my village is a town.
Another error you blindly made is talking about generalizing. If there's anyone who made that error, it is you for not understanding the meaning of 'some places'. Like seriously, you need to do away with sentiments to keep yourself rational.
Finally, I love where I'm serving. It's a challenge to me which I'm willing to face. There's no electricity to speak of, poor network and very difficult accessibility. And the area is one of the 'oil communities', so to say. I intend to use my NEMA membership to good effect there. Above all, the people are excellent in character and hospitality, hence my attraction to them. #EOD.

Please spare us your bullshyt. When it comes to road construction, I will boldly score Suswam ZERO. All the roads in Benue are filled with gaping potholes, even in Makurdi. Drivers have to perform death-defying manoeuvres to pass through. Some did not live to tell the story. Where did Suswam build road? Makurdi? Otukpo? Gboko? Katsina ala? Adikpo? Vandeikya? Zaki-ibiam? Where? Even Abia governor constructed more new roads and resurfaced many old roads. I bet that OP is not well-travelled, because no explanation can be given for Benue state not being on that list.
Regular Fulani invasions coupled with armed robbery and assassinations further reinforced my comment on the growing insecurity in the state.
