I don't really have a problem with Saraki as the new Senate president but this singular act is not reasonable enough, im so sure its the price he has to pay to get the endorsement from the PDP Senators.

The only sensible thing to do is for him to defect back to the PDP so we know we have opposition leaders as the Senate and Deputy senate president .

PDP as opposition in the upper house is good for healthy democracy, just like it is in the USA or some other countries. But one question remains, Are we ripe for this?

Will the PDP as opposition and also powerful in the senate, will not try to flex her power with yhe executive wrongly. Republicans flex power with President Obama in the USA, but this is done along with constitution.

I doubt if this will apply in Naija.
