Normally, where a clear majority exists, the majority party produces the leadership of the house.

If all APC members where present in the house, Lawan and Saraki would have both stood up to contest just as what transpired in the House of Reps.

You can bet at this very point David Mark would have stood up to contest as well.

This will lead to APC votes being split between Saraki and Lawan with David Mark carting off all PDP votes and emerging a clear winner.

So all you janjawiid tadpoles crying for Tinubu should at least appreciate Sariki's effort at securing the President of the Senate for your party or else PDP mathematics where the minority is always greater than the majority would have played out again.

The Hosue of Reps elections where 2 APC members contested the same sit shows that APC is no way a united party.

In a true democracy, the party is supposed to nominate 2 or 3 persons and present to the voters for final selection. That is the solution to internal crisis as we saw in the HoR

No. Where a party has a clear majority you dont expect the minority party to produce a candidate.

Rather it is up to the majority party to simply elect one among themselves outside the house.

Why was it so difficult for APC to achieve this simple feat?

Speaking of party imposition, your party can not begin to complain of party imposition where most elected members especially from the SW where personally handpicked by Tinubu.
