Ma'am, I don't give a damn about which party holds on to power. My only concern first as a Nigerian, is to see Nigeria grow, to see a pro-Nigeria project come to actualization.

Ask yourself this, will PDP be willing to support this administration to see to their success ??

I just hope they're not out to oppose any pro-Nigerian project the APC may want to implement.

Putting it mildly, APC's success will further relegate PDP's presence in the political scene and I suspect PDP wouldn't want that. What they'll do to prevent that is what I fear.

Former Lagos State governor and national leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu has named national interest as the reason ACN members in the House gave a bloc vote to the candidature of Tambuwal, which led to his subsequent emergence as Speaker. Tinubu gave this insight at a reception in honour of ACN House members at the Ogun State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.

He said that the party’s took its position in order to advance the interest of the nation in the lower chamber of the National Assembly.
Tinubu, who drove into the reception venue in company of Chief Segun Osoba, said he was under tremendous pressure to toe the line of the PDP to support a South West candidate for the position but had to halt his support for any candidate based on his conviction that the legislature was a separate arm of government that should be allowed to produce its own leaders independently.

He hinted that he personally instructed all ACN members to vote for Tambuwal and not to collect a kobo from any other candidate.
In his speech, Chief Bisi thanked the lawmakers, noting that he was proud of them and that the ACN would continue to play such formidable role in this administration.

Yesterday, they lampooned, castigated and abused Saraki and the "Northern" Oligarchy but today because they saw a tiny vein and temporary loss of chess game to Southwest in the political calculation, the Same "Gambari" are now their Love and Partner, just to have a go against The West for going against their moronic ex President!

Just like I said in one of your threads, what happened yesterday, was just an elementary act of betrayal and treachery, which any dumb and Clueless person can pull off!

Any wonder all the PDP members in both chambers obeyed their Party's Directive to vote enblock against any Candidate of APC, But APC' s Own Directive for his members to vote along a particular line was Termed and Imposition?? and Some naive APC supporters couldn't even see this! Talk of Hypocrisy!

So no matter how they spin it to suit their anger against Tinubu or APC, the Fact remains that Party Indiscpline carried the day! And nothing else!

You accused me of editing your post when I exposed your ignorance and quickly ran to edit it, but you forgot to do it well. You have changed the "Deputy Speaker" which was in the original post to "Deputy Senate President", but alas, forgot to edit the "House" which was also in the original post.

I have found out that , reading or writing article is the problem of most Nigerians that they see anybody writing lengthy articles or post to be a god. There is nothing special.

If you can't analyze politics the way they do. Or put your thoughts down then you are on a long thing.

Go to forums like Qoura, Reddit and see that's the norm. Get use to it and stop hailing everyone writing epistles.
