The Borno Police Command has confirmed the death of three suspected female suicide bombers in Konduga Local Government Area as their improvised explosive devises (IEDs) detonated on their way to Maiduguri, the state capital. Borno State Commissioner of Police, Aderemi Opadokun, made this disclosure on Wednesday during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Maiduguri. Opadokun said the bombers died on Tuesday on their way to he capital to cause more havoc and disaster in the city. “Three suspected female suicide bombers died in Konduga Local Government Area, about 18 kilometres to Maiduguri, on Tuesday when the IEDs strapped to their bodies detonated on their way to the Borno State capital. “All the three suicide bombers were killed and no other casualty was recorded,’” he said. ideyhere:I agree with you. most of this young girls who are young as 10 yrs to 17 yrs old were kidnapped from their home and force to be suicide bombers. They are just as victims as those innocent people killed from the bomb blast. |
