This is actually good news, from the Igbo perspective. It will remind us that there's no place like home. Outside the east, you'll always be subjected to this kind of thing. Until we stop running to other peoples' regions to setup businesses as if our place is allergic to business, our home will remain under developed. No one is saying u shouldn't have businesses in other places, but u need to at least establish a good proportion of them at home. The federal govt, whether intentionally or not, has refused to register their presence in the south east. Its now left for us to at least build up the east to an extent which I know we can if we put our great minds to it. Onye ajuru aju adighi aju onwe ya. This brings to mind the case of an Igbo woman who sold her 4-storey building for N400, 000 when our northern brothers went on yet another rampage. What a waste. But at least she was able to find a buyer. Others taunted her to carry the house to the south east if she wouldn't sell for ridiculous prices like N80, 000 or N150, 000. But nothing spoil sha. Igbo is on the rise again. Nothing should hold us down. Igbo kwenu! |

I also believe its politically motivated.......but how be it, its a bad move and if such continues the effect might at the long run be devastating... the general view is like they trying to divide Nigeria, if Nigeria but be one such should be addressed appropriately or discouraged happney65: |

CaptainOjemba:The reason you are at peace with people who hack others to death I presume is because you are a globally confirmed coward and you do nothing even when there is injustice. I am so proud that my tribe has never been labbeled cowardly. I will rather love ambition than cowardice. We are not Lazy. We thrive every where we are . Same cant be said of your tribe and the fact that we own all the major markets in Lagos gives you the hibby jibbies. Guy get a life! or a job! We are successful and no amount of genocide will erase that. How come you hate us that much! because we are independent and strong and of course hard working. How come all the jokes of laziness or cowardice is never directed at the Igbo man. Think about it and shame yourself! We dont ruin Lagos.. The cowards and Lazy dazies do that. We run Lagos economically and that is the only strength Lagos has and that economical strength come from the people who own the markets while the lazy low lifes shout ' OWO mi da? Baba agba and wait from hand outs even from people they hate! Kai! like the mallams will say! Too bad! |

Why do you think one Nigeria is sacrosanct? Whatis so special about a country that no one loves or cares for? Can't you see the signs everywhere? We hate each other and celebrate the misfortunes of others not of our tribes. Where is the binding cord? Please FACE THE FACT. WE SHOULD START THINKING SERIOUSLY OF PARTING IN PEACE laurel03: |
