guru's in the house, am having issues with my HP255 G2 laptop audio. it has refused to play any audio material. the audio icon in the desktop is marked X with the colour red and it read "the audio service is not running".PLEASE I NEED URGENT REPLY. THANKS |

maxjax:thanks for your concern bro. i just solved it. I just recovered the system using recovery (Action Center -> Recovery -> Open System Restore ) windows8.1. Apparently AVG 2014 updated some files causing a conflict with the OS. Today i will uninstall the AVG or atleast find a way to stop the automatic updates |
