Mugabe's Land Reforms A Success, Western Media Admits by Nobody: 8:31am On Jun 12, 2015
So when will the west remove the damaging economic sanctions on Zimbabwe?

Why are the Zimbabweans still being punished for the equitable redistribution of the land?

The answer remains a mystery!

The land, no longer owned by the white minority of 4%, has been redistributed to the majority, and resources are now being utilised by the majority of the country, as farms, mines, and myriad other uses, courtesy of Robert Mugabe and his ZANU PF party's nationalist poilcies.

Even the UK's Channel 4 news now admits the land reform has brought prosperity to the black majority:

Land Reforms Bring Prosperity to black Zimbabweans:

http://www.channel4.com/news/land-reform-brings-prosperity-to-black-zimbabweans

Heck... even the BBC grudgingly admitted the land reforms were a success:

Zimbabwe land reform ''not a failure''

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-11764004

Even Oxfam are finally admitting Mugabe was right:

Has Zimbabwe's land reform actually been a success? A new book says Yes:

http://oxfamblogs.org/fp2p/has-zimbabwes-land-reform-actually-been-a-success-a-new-book-says-yes/

So, when will the west lift the economic sanctions against Zimbabwe?

To hell with the sanctions of the West, Africa will flourish on it's own. Our time shall come we will be sanctioning them.

The BBC article never called the reforms a success. The writer merely states it's not a total catastrophic failure and there are beneficiaries. That doesn't make it a ringing endorsement. It's the same with the Channel4 article. It just interviewed beneficiaries of the reforms. It's still not an endorsement. Over 4 million Zimbabweans in South Africa, with many others straining the borders attempting to flee, doesn't reflect the joys of the reforms. Some Chinese people hearken for the communist era where they were guaranteed their daily bread and cost of living was lower. It doesn't make communist China - similar to today's North Korea - a model economy. The apologist nonsense in the article which seems to endorse tyranny by a deluded megalomaniac like Mugabe doesn't mention that Zimbabwe went from Africa's food basket to a food importer. Or the 80 - 94% estimated urban unemployment. Even factoring the Western sanctions (fully deserved until Mugabe steps down - they're punishing him and not Zimbabwe), the mismanagement and ineptitude is glaring. Countries like Iran and Cuba didn't descend to such farce just because of crippling Western sanctions and trade embargoes.

The guy has played a fast con on deluded, fake Afrocentrists. He felt his power base withering in Zimbabwe and the land reforms, often accompanied with brutal violence, was his salvation. He's an absolute clown under who Zimbabwe would remain a wretched country. If you think he is a hero, then yu're precisely the reason for the statement "people deserve the leaders they get". Africa is cursed with bad leadership because of people like you.

The highlighted is comic. They are not punishing Zimbabwans with the sanctions but you say that there are 4Million Zimbabweans in SA and 80-94% urban unemployment. I wonder how those figures will change when they start punishing Zimbabweans.

Uncle Bob is a genuine African hero. All the noise is because Zim is almost the only genuinely independent African country. The truth! For the records, elections in Zim are freer than any election inNigeria will ever be. OBJ conducted 2 comically farcical elections but no sanctions.

Yawwnnnnn...... How much did your land thieving fellow oyibos pay you for this pack of lies you typed? Sorry, the Zimbabwe issue is done and dusted. The land stays with the blacks - permanently. Go look for someone else's land to steal. Thief.

Oh.... and do stop trying to water down what those links are saying. We know you hate them admitting the land reforms were a success.. We know you want the land returned to minority white ownership. Ain't gonna happen....want some tissue?

They're NOT punishing Zimbabweans. The people are just collateral damage in a bid to check Mugabe. Diplomacy is conducted between governments and not the governed masses. If you believe the garbage you typed about Zimbabwean elections, then you need a psych evaluation.

You've pointed out no lie though. And except you have serious comprehension problems, reading the link that YOU posted makes it clear your title is misleading. I'm not THAT bothered about Zimbabwe. Never been there, never will. It's the Zimbabweans suffering the tyranny and oppression, and their Southern African neighbours who have to endure millions of Zimbabweans fleeing Mugabe's paradise to flood their countries.

Mugabe should stop giving excuses for his failure.

I dont know whether the land reform is a success or not,
but for a country that was formerly a net exporter of food to now become a net importer of food says a lot about the so called land reform
u just dont hand over farms to people who lacked the technical skill, knowledge and capital on how to run a viable commercial enterprise and expect a transformation.
if thats how u intend to run your business, then i feel sorry for u........

Let's face it, Zimbabwe is an economic disaster.
The biggest source of revenue for the nation is remittance from Zimbabweans working in south Africa.
The severe economic condition has forced it's citizens to RSA to work low paying jobs
The average wage in Zim is nothing to write home about...... 5 dollars per month
And u are even among the lucky few to get that kind of job
Unemployment is rampant........at 94 %.
Despite the ridiculous cheap labour (something that should encourage investors) factories are closing down everyday.
Cost of doing business is high and bureaucracy is daunting.
Efforts to lease the fertile lands to competent hands for commercial farming was rebuffed.
Despite the relief from the Chinese........they are Zim biggest buyers of its natural resources
Only the members of zanu-pf party and their cronies has seen improvements in their lives.
The rest of the country has given up.
Chronic inflation has destroyed any reasonable purchasing power
And essential commodities has simply disappeared from stores.
Effort by fellow Africans, incuding my ibo brothers to revive the ailing retail market by their ingenuity was resisted.
Mugabe simply said no foreigner must own a store or shop, instead the foreigner should employ a local as the real boss of the shop.

Now
Someone wants me to respect such a man simply because he's antiwest.
Nonsense.
Mugabe is a failure.....an example of everything wrong with African leaders
He should go.

It's only foolish Africans that desire to be tenants in their own land that are against the land reform of Robert Mugabe.

So insisting your people are made equal owners of their land and resources with outsiders is "fighting the west"? Can you people see the sort of spineless, satanic traitors that sit amongst us and call themselves Africans?

Spare us your tired, hand-me-down tales from western racist accounts who wish Zimbabwe to remain their captured territory. The land redistribution and subsequent western sanctions are the price that must be paid by Zimbabweans if they are to secure a real future for their children and beyond. Why don't you go and hand your own land to a bunch of whites, and when they cart away all the profit, they'll remind you of the crumbs thrown at you and why you should be grateful? Leave Zimbabweans out of your slave mentality.

tell this to the 4 millions zimbabweans who are in south africa doing menial jobs to survive
yet refused to go home in the face of apparent xenophobic attacks from angry hosts.
by the way, why are they are not at home working on the redistributed farms.
if the land reform is a success as you allude, then why are Zim running away from the land.
See you, you think to till the land for profit is all about hoe and cutlass?
nonsense.
are even aware that most of Mugagbe's cronies he gave the land to are silently leasing the land back to white farmers.
Talking about putting the cart before the horse.
do you even know that the man still collects aids from these so called western nations. The U.S he plummets every now and then, remains the largest source of foreign donor to his govt.
very pathetic.
He travelled to china the other day, for the asean convention and said 'the days of Africa selling primary products to western nations in exchange for consumer goods are over'
I was like so what exactly does asian nations buy from Zim and what do they sell in return.
abeg, the man is simply out of touch with reality.
I dont respect african leaders that spits venom against western countries but yet failed woefully to achieve economic sustainability for the common good of their own people.
Talk to me about Gadaffi or that botswana leader and I will listen.
