Overpopulation is the greatest cause of poverty.

Deal with that issue and you will have more resources to allocate.

Sustainable growth is the solution.

This is so true, but poverty should have been numero uno on that chat because most of those who die as a result of sickness is based on lack good medical care caused by poverty.
That's true cos I don't know anyone that has been killed by poverty directly. They're mostly killed by one illness or the other.

Re: Leading Causes Of Death In Nigeria - NOIPolls by akoaki(m):
Ignorance is a major reason why people die early in nigeria. Both the leaders and the governed are ignorant in many ways.
Other reasons are fear, stress, religion , culture and traditions. The case of the deaths from alcohol consumption comes to mind here. The affected natives believed it was their gods that were angry until science proved otherwise. Other causes of early death may just be derivatives of the above mentioned.

They should have put cell phone as the leading cause of death... Many people die in accidents due to careless drivers using cellphones while driving... Many people die from sicknesses related to always having cell phone radiation swarming their heads...
Also some insurgent bombers use cell phones to remote detonate thier bombs, or at least use the cell phone battery to power the charges...

Cell phone is the cause shocked

Ojukwu defended his people from gowon and awolowo whose primary desire was total annihiliation. If not for Ojukwu's fierce and determined resistance, awolowo and gowon would have surpassed Hitler. But not to worry, there's something called Karma. If its good for the goose, then the gander deserves it as well.

What is sickness?

This is lame
Re: Leading Causes Of Death In Nigeria - NOIPolls by NobleG1(m): 12:23pm On Jun 14, 2015
Sure, we know our problems and yet we support and praise corrupt politicians. Isn't that st*upid?

Sickness: We don't have healthcare system and yet our corrupt "leaders" jet out to the most expensive hospitals in foreign countries for mere headache, while thousands of Nigerians die from curable diseases.

Poverty: Nigerian politicians don't care about poverty. They're too incompetent to lead while they're main focus is solely in looting public money. The elephant salaries they voted for themselves is a good evidence of their endemic corruption.

Motor Accidents: More than 85% of Nigerian roads are death traps. Money had been "allocated" to most of them severally and yet the money ended up in their pockets.

Nigeria is indeed a failed State
