The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has too many bank accounts, some of which either the Ministry of Finance or the corporation itself has lost track of.

Making the revelation today in Johannesburg was Nigeria’s leader, President Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari, a former petroleum minister and former Nigerian military head of state expressed shock at the development, describing it as ‘improper.

As petroleum minister during the Chief Olusegun Obasanjo military regime,(1976-1979) Buhari said NNPC had only three accounts, in contrast to what the Jonathan government bequeathed: “too many accounts such that the NNPC and the ministry of finance did not know how many accounts they had.”

I tell you, brother. This is serious. That NNPC doesn't know all its bank account is worrisome. It shows how deep the cancer called corruption has eaten deep into it. Buh I believe 'Dr Buhari' will give this 'cancer' the treatment it deserves.

What nonsense report is this? President Buhari should keep quiet if he has nothing to say. Who told him that NNPC don't know their all their bank account? Perhaps it is Buhari that can't remember NNPC bank accounts.

Buhari would have failed in his corruption fight if he refuses to probe NNPC.

Was he told the NNPC operated numerous accounts in which they can't give proper account for or he discovered it by himself?
