PEOPLE: BEWARE OF RESORT SAVINGS & LOAN BANK PLC.
The first company to be investigated and prosecuted with the new anti-graft law.

They are the most dubious and dangerous bank to bank with in Nigeria. In fact, they are no more liquid. If they get hold of your money, to release it when needed, you will have to do thanks giving, if at all they release it to you.
The management of Resort Savings & Loans PLC can anything for you to forget your money with them.

Resort Savings & Loans PLC refusing to release some of my friend, the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), Loan, disbursed to them since September 2014.
They only went ahead to pay the five (5) ICPC staff among the batch (Batch 54 of FMBN), after they were invited for interrogation by the ICPC.

Every attempt made to request for the money always succeeded only with excuses from them. They are always looking for reasons why they should not release the money (loan).

The Batch 54 consist of fourteen in the batch, Resort Savings paid five (5), and left with the nine (9) to be paid.
I believe they have been trading with our money. They went and fixed the money in a fixed deposit account.

If they know that the people have not met the conditions for the release of the loan, why did they ask the FMBN to disburse the money to them?

Let us report them to the authority in charge.

Fiscal federalism won't make Nigerians anti-corruption.

We were practicing fiscal federalism in the first republic. Guess what.,...we still had corruption (Nzeogwu's ten percenters).

What we really need is an end to reliance on selling resources.......and a focus on using available resources to develop industrially. That will reduce corruption because any corrupt behaviour means a reduction in jobs and investment.....which means a reduction in revenue....and which means revolution.Better you make everything work.

Whereas with our sharing the money mentality.....if billions dissapear...no problem....we just export more and replace the missing millions.Bad economics.
Hmmm...addressing corruption from d behavioural angle. Curbing d mentality of resources, revenue and focusing on welfare nd investments. I like that. What was learned can b unlearned. let me add that d fixation on d federal instead of states and LGs is also a problem.

[quote author=lexy2014 post=34826359]am not 2 excited with d proposed bills. Apart from d whistle blower bill, d others seem 2do with improving how banking and financial institutions conduct themselves. I don't think these bills can hurt a fly how much more a thieving politician. I was xpecting 2c laws that stipulate stiff penalties 4 corruption. These aren't anti
