Are you still in Africa? Do you still love West Africa? Lord, I know you Love our Country your elect, because;

...here in a part of the world, in Africa, in a country in West Africa, Things are not the way you left them
There is no more trust between couples, marriage is no longer working; cheats and betrayal everywhere
Bride going down with ex on her wedding eve, Groom having a quickie with ex(es) in the name of bach eve
Wives going after their old guys while husbands still run their old meat just for sexual gratification
Children becoming abused, trafficking and drugs are common prowess of our youths while old women are been raped
...father Lord, somewhere in west Africa, things are getting complicated

Now, Corps members are dying like chicken everywhere in the news and very soon NASS would be paid N9B while NYSC still pays N19k+
States are incapacitated to pay salaries in the country, NNPC with numerous untraceable accounts, + corruption, and godfatherism
Rituals, killings, kidnapping has become the order of the day, heartbreak and deceit amongst our youths
Recycling of old leaders in our government, theft of our crude by same people legally incharge

Joy of starting a relationship between boy and gal, high expectations of things to come, but tears end it all
Boss molesting subordinates in the name of authority, backstabbing and voodoo is now rampart amongst workers
Produce is now expensive in the market, fare of taxi and buses are skyrocketed,
Killings in the North, Kidnapping in the South, Fake products in the East, and Rituals in the West
...father Lord, somewhere in west Africa, things are getting complicated

We have tried but it keeps getting out of hand...we pray it gets better after getting worse
What should we do now Oh Lord? The money from our crude is been shared amongst the few while they give masses crumbs
How do we restore the faulty marriages, why should brethren in church sabotage the effort of fellow brother?
Our education is becoming decadence day by day, our roads are now death traps, jobs are scarce, love is gone, treasury is empty, debts are rising, politic is heating up, ministries are crying, private companies are folding up, and Nigeria seems restarting!
...Yes, father Lord, somewhere in west Africa in Nigeria, we want to feel and see your fingers at work according to the magicians

But, we are grateful for the fertile land, the brains and intellectuals you bestowed on us, the crude oil, the coal, the good news shared amongst brethren in your Words, the church despite multitude of inconsistencies notwithstanding, intervention in government hopefully,
What else can we say than to say Baba digwo!
