I want to buy a laptop within the price range of 50-60k. I'll be using the laptop to run basic architectural and planning softwares like Autocard, Revit & ArcGIS. i have 2 in mind but am kind of in a fix, below are the 2 and their basic specs and online price from konga. Please help me decide; 1st LAPTOP Windows 8.1 500 GB HDD 4 GB RAM 15.6 Inch, HD Display 2.1GHz Intel Dual Core Processor ₦60,000 Brand Lenovo G50-30 2nd LAPTOP Windows 8.1 2GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB HDD 15.6 Inch, Diagonal HD Anti-glare Flat LED-Backlit AMD Dual Core (1.35GHz,1 MB cache) With AMD Radeon R2 Graphics |

I would pick the 1st option for these reasons: 1) It's Intel processor. My first laptop has AMD processor, and that laptop gave me a lot of stress. I've avoided AMD processors ever since. 2) It has 4GB RAM, which is double the other. More RAM is always better. Cheers. |

princemi:I'd say go for the 2nd, AMD processors are good for processing graphics, you could ask for an upgrade though for the ram. |

mcdokwe:ya tru. on a normal day i would av gone 4 d hp with my eye's closed but d processor is just 2 low. 1.3 ghz coupled wit a 2gb ram, seems rather poor |
