Dear, I can agree in all sincerity that the job ahead for PMB is very onerous and equally daunting, and that he may need sometime before starts performing his magic, but it's totally out of place for you to claim he can't do any meaningful work because the NASS elections. For goodness sake, the principal officers of the chambers have been appointed and the chambers inaugurated.

That the favoured/anointed people of the APC didn't win the elections in the chambers isn't enough reason to suggest there's any crisis in the chambers.

It's time to start working for the people to see. Once the cabinet is formed and the list in public glare, the attending criticism just vapourise and waits till there some good reasons to criticise again. That's the truth.

There's no denying the fact PMB is a bit slow in constituting his cabinet, and that's getting some people bothered. A lot of people need to understand where the nation is headed, and only his cabinet can allay such fears, though I still believe the fears are unfounded.

Don't take this forum too seriously.
Thank you for your post, I understand your point. The issue with Buhari administration is that the APC campaign team made a lot of promises with unrealistic deadlines. Those promises in itself are achievable with a determined and politically willing government but will take a little time for it actualization, Buhari can only build the foundation for a better Nigeria we hoped for in next four years and cannot build the future will need within that period of time that the APC campaign team promised Nigeria.

Comparing Buhari administration to that of Jonathan is like comparing an apple to an orange. Jonathan administration inherit a govt of his party, in which he has rule for over a year and the party loyalists and election workers are known and benefits allocated. But in case of Buhari, he took over a government where the current occupants are not his party loyalists who may not have shared his visions and mission (bearing in mind that the immediate govt has allow many of them to be highly corrupt), the emergence of the party as winners were as a result of many factional parties (ACN, CPC, APGA, nPDP and others) that their voices need to be heard and given a sense of belonging quality and integrity will not be comprised for rewards for roles played in election activities.

Initially when I opened this thread I didnt realized that it was created by Barcanista until I started reading post quoting him/her and his/her responses, that is hypocrisy of the highest order. Though I do not take things on this forum serious or personal but this Barcanista guy was once a logical and rational thinking guys basing his/her argument on a right logical reasons/statement though some has wrong conclusion but now he/she has throw that trait of quality away in his/her recent posts and threads.

Barcanista, I knew you be wondering why my moniker is quoting you in these recent days, I have been a Nairalander until a few week before last election. I deactivated my account as I can just stand having privilege to comment on some sensitive election issues without commenting. But unfortunately when the normalcy is getting back to Nairaland Politics section and want to registered with my previous username and email, none is accepted. I sincerely cherish you but you just need to be the real person you are. I can remember the thread you opened on Buhari certificate saga pouring out your mind on the need why Buhari need to produce his certificate, few days later, news has it that Buhari wrote his School and instructed the school to release his result to any media who seek such. Premium Times was the first media house to obtained it before the Buhari campaign team release it to the public.....Also, I notice that few weeks after this your post you switched to criticizing APC and her leaders arguing against your previous stands which led you to be modifying your previous posts. My thought then was that for you to take such decision considering your level of reasoning, you must have seen the evil side(s) of APC and her leaders (for I believe that there is no party or politicians that is saint or devil) but as the time passed by, I discovered that, my presumption is far from reality.

I am not in any position to decide your political affiliations (as I have none) but appreciate that no matter the political affiliation you chose for yourself, you should to be sincere and considerate in your criticisms.
As for me I can not speak or make my opinions on Buhari administration until after six months because I believe a wise man will always get the full knowledge/understanding of a matter and study the cause and effect of the same before making a decisive step(s)/action(s).

Two things are involved: its either ur judgments are clouded with sentiments or u are just as optimistic about this government as the majority of overwhelming nigerians! Either way. Be patient the list will be out and he will deliver!

I agree with you on that....the flexibity and control you enjoy when you do your own thing can't be compared to being under someone else....you get to schedule your work hours around your commitments...freedom to work however, wherever and whenever you choose too.....but everything as its pros and cons....considering the kind of country we live in,working around those 'cons' can be quite hard

1. Jonathan took 6 weeks...even after promising to announce his ministers in two weeks.

2. Jonathan failed to transmit transition documents that would facilitate the appointment of ministers, especially as it's clear some ministries will have to be merged to reduce the cost of governance...

So so far, it doesn't really matter, but by now next month, it will be a problem if they've still not been appointed.
Doing samething Jonathan did is not change. Sometimes I wonder if you guys really know the meaning of change.

I agree but the fear of handling those CONS have only succeeded in making many people poor. No risk, no rich.....I sometime get so angry within when my company just bumps unannounced into my schedule and turn everything upside down. But what will I do? Just comply.

For instance, my annual leave was postponed due to some pressing jobs . I desire to be like Dangote. It's being my thought for years. .......

I agree with you on the fear issue.....no risk no reward...but sometimes 'motivation' goes' a long way.I want to open a salon, bakery or I decide to manufacture/produce a certain product, how do I do that if I don't have power?? The fact that I need to spend a lot on fuel (which isn't even cheap) just to run my business, won't encourage me to do anything....Nigeria has been killing dreams since 1800BC
