Social networking - Create a account in most of the social networking sites, share few information related to your.get as much as like u can.
Because the traffic/site visits also makes you on top 10.
Get some back links - write some blogs and get the link placed in those those forums/blogs

Goto plus.google.com sign up - click Menu tab to create new page .

Usually every one uses a normal profile account . - I.e your self created profile witout a page. Hope I made a point.
