I'm happy you agree it's no big deal for a man to help out even if it's once in a while.

I wouldn't use the word 'must', my outburst was to guys who are looking for already made ladies (independent in their words) but do not want to pay the price.

My argument was more of pleading and not insisting or commanding. Hence, my constant use of it's no big deal if men help around the house. And I also made it clear that no responsible or reasonable Lady would take advantage of it.

My pain is that most guys see it as a thing of shame to help around the house. seen a guy made it clear on this forum that he can't wash any plate used by a 'mere' lady. Some guys see ladies as a lesser being

I hope you can now see the bias and flaws in Truckie. But then, you seem to agree with him that it's okay to use love to hold a Lady in slavery

You still didn't get my point.
I know some guys has a deeprooted problems with women and I stated clearly that I can do chores and do things for my self but if you decide to make it like a rule that must be obeyed then you're sure to run into problems with any man in his right frame of mind.
I once had a girlfriend and she was virtually living with me in my apartment and I simply ask this girl to give me a glass of water while lying on the couch ,remember in Africa this is something that our women does for us here without murmuring and she responded that she's not my slave and even went ahead to tell me that from today henceforth that we will share every responsibilities in the house which I agreed because I knew where exactly I will catch her .
The next day she asked me to give her some money that she needed another winter jacket and I simply told her that I'm not her ATM machine. grin

after all she's also working too and I'be been cooking my Nigerian food that she enjoys and she hardly have time to cook because of the nature of her work.
Sometimes most ladies apply all the mor0nic jargons being propagated by feminists in the wrong way and some Nigerian girls are now even making a mockery of it becasue their own case is even worse and this is my problem with some women.They want to eat their cake and have it back .

My argument is to guys who don't even want to hear of helping at all. Heaven knows I would appreciate any help I get from my man and if he doesn't help, I'd do my chores but then, it wouldn't kill to help and I would very much love him to help
