EASON WHY YOU SHOULD STAY OFF TREATMENTS WITH HERBAL QUACKS NO MATTER HOW CHEAP!

AIM OF WRITING:
(Am writing this strictly to correct expensive errors and never to run down anybody or group of people)

Tackling certain illnesses and diseases using herbs can most often be more rewarding and effective. Sometimes orthodox medicines can fail and the last resort is herb. We tag this alternative medicine. In modern medicine, we so much embrace the use of these herbs in special cases only by QUALIFIED medical personnels in the likes of certified Botanists, pharmacists in the area of pharmacognosy, alternative medical specialists. Etc.

However, the rate at which quacks goes around our major streets in Nigeria today advertising ignorance is a nightmare!

So sad that many have been brainwashed already by these quacks to settle for less and deadly poisonous substances of their so called herbs. So worrisome is the rate at which these stack quacks are going around on buses and wheelbarrow deceiving desperate ones with their poisons.

OUR FEAR
1.EVERY MEDICINE, BE IT TRADITIONAL OR ORTHODOX HAS DOSAGE: Exceeding this dosage means signing death warrant. We call this lethal dose. However, these quacks hardly understand this. So many lives have already been wasted to this. I personally lose an aunt to these quacks in 2010 due to over dosage. Therefore, I don't want you to fall victim too. To be forewarned is to be forearmed!
2. WRONG DIAGNOSIS: These quacks have no proper knowledge of human body other than struggling to name part of the body. Physiology, biochemistry and basic pharmacology of the substance they will even administer on you, appears like Latin to them.They are so good in joking with human life by using her as Guinea pig for their trial and error treatments. It has never occur to them that life is one. It has no duplicate!
3. USE OF ONE DRUG TYPE TO TREAT OVER A HUNDRED ILLNESSES: This is pure quackery and gaming with human life in the highest level. Imagine using anti asthma medicines to tackle hormonal problems like menstrual cycle delay in ladies.. just imagine that!. Pathophysiologically, what is the link between the two? Pharmacologically, how wise is the acumen?. Instead of improving health, So many Members of the public get their conditions worsen by these quacks hence, leaving them to run from pillar to pole without any solution to the already inflicted irreparable damage!
4. THEY ARE AFTER THEIR POCKETS:
These quacks are all after selfish gains and pockets only. It may interest you to know that they are not really up to improve your health. They are there to make money by all means!
Why on earth will someone tell you that herbs can correct anomalies that require surgery? How possible is that? All they want is to sell! Sell! and Sell!!
5. MOST OF THEM ARE SPIRITUALISTS:
They have ways of manipulating your soul, inflicting you spiritually with deadly diseases and infections. All they want is regular patronage! You understand me?
6. THEY HAVE NO PROPER REGULATORY BODY /ASSOCIATION:
The already existing body guiding them is now a jungle!.
Its yet to occur to many that lawless professions are capable of doing just anything. Reason being that they have nothing to suffer, be it lost of membership, license or facing executions. No one to cut down their excesses. Consequently ,their patients and clients are automatically prone to abuse, exploitations etc .
7. ONLY VERY FEW OF THEM ARE WELL TRAINED /TREATED:
Majority of them are not properly trained. Those half bakes goes around advertising self with fake license and certifications. I think medical ethic should inform them that advertising self is highly unprofessional!. Their work should advertise them..The few trained are not updated regularly as it should be.

PROACTIVE MEASURES:

1. Screen all herbal and alternative medical practitioners properly. Its your right to know their educational qualifications and certification. Life is not a roasted chicken and pepsi!
2. Avoid roadside self claimed doctors!. Rat fighters should concentrate on their ministry.
3. Any herbal practitioner with no good office and training should not be given a try!
4. Always scrutinize those herbs with the help of your botanist and pharmacist before taking. Their knowledge is subject to that of your botanist and pharmacist. In other word, your botanist's recommendations are final!
5. Screen all GNLD, TIANSHI, GREEN WORLD's sales reps properly. Prescription from none medics should be subject to confirmation by a qualified medic!..Don't let any of those marketers blindfold you with wrong diagnosis, prescriptions and treatments. Only very few of them(None medics) understand what they are doing. However, it pays to patronize medics always. When a qualified medical personnel talks, you will know!
6. Let a qualified medic be your first point of treatments. If your issue requires herbal treatments, she will recommend same immediately and guide you through.
