While Gbenga was preparing for his final year project in the University he stumbled on an idea that he later developed and submitted to a multinational company he believed will need it. They said they will call him back but they didn't. He also forgot about it telling himself to face reality and forget day-dreaming.

Gbenga got a job where he was paid 50,000 per month without added benefits. His sweetheart, Titilola encouraged him not to focus on his salary; that she was ready to support him and stay by him no matter the challenges- only that they should get married. After some reluctance he finally agreed and the wedding prep started.

To cut the long story short, three days to the wedding, a call came in. It was the company Gbenga submitted the proposal to. He was informed that the company finally agreed to take up investing in the project and that he should come in three days to finalize on it because all the necessary signatories will be in the country briefly that day.

Knowing that the said day is the wedding day, if you are in Gbenga's shoes what will you do?

You meant to say, "The answer is obvious." That's how respectable people, people with normal temper reason and respond.
There is however more to the story than going to meet the company representatives and wedding ceremony- if you read it properly.
