Clarification is highly needed due to misunderstanding of the Presidential directive. President Muhammadu Buhari Monday directed the Nigerian Army to withdraw soldiers from military check- points in relatively secure parts of the country and concentrate more on ending the Boko Haram insurgency. The directive is to * allow The Nigeria army to carryout its number responsibility SECURING NIGERIA'S Territorial SOVEREIGNTY *The order will aid in addressing alleged acts of HUMAN RIGHT violation by troops * It will address issues relating to The use of Military personnel's in internal security which has made personnel's to act in unethical manners against military doctrine and modus operandi (ie,shooting of trailer driver in Kaduna recently) further more *The new government will carry out full overhaul of Nigeria's internal security system/apparatus in a bid to make them more efficient, reliable, discipline and proactive to crime detection and prevention *The federal Govt will equip and train the police COUNTER TERRORISM UNIT as well as men of the MOBILE POLICE force to meet contemporary challenges pose by criminals *More efforts will go towards effective intelligence gathering and crime prevention I urge us all to support our military most of us will not survive 5mins of a normal Nigeria soldier life Ibnsultan midolian efulefu ngeneukwenu, Ymodulus Aminat508 t Beremx ; Gbawe ; omenka ; passingshot ; egift ;mzjackbauress

The order will aid in reducing incidents of HUMAN RIGHT violationSo only soldiers can violate human rights, what about police? Are the police any better regarding human rights? |

In Nigeria, we are afraid of NPF and not criminals. Those men in black are official criminals in uniform |

Why are people never satisfied? They did not remove road block, people will come here to rant "what are the soldiers doing in this peaceful part if the country ? Why are they not in borno where they are needed? " Now they have been removed and the cry continues "why are they removed?" Let PMB concentrate on his work and listen less to all these cry babies who are never satisfied! |

I'm against total and immediate withdrawal. It should be done in phases to avoid total collapse of security |

IbnSultaan:That is my own reasoning to. Gone are the days you think criminals will load guns and come through the check points. I. Love our gallant soldiers and I know they are brave and can do better with more intelligence, not standing 24hrs at a spot. As for the POLICE and FRSC, their own nemesis is still receiving instructions from heaven!!! |

This is one of the conditions given by his disgruntled brothers to lay down their arms. With the presence of the military check points, the won't able to come into town to leave comfortable. They do not want to be living in fears hence this condition. Has anybody heard any new strategy adopted by PMB or made any new comment apart from the same statements he made during the campaign, the answer is no. I tell you guys his disgruntled brothers will soon drop their anger and embrace peace. They will all be settled for a job well done. We have started seeing the rewards for other actors ranging from the principal of GGSS Chibok to BBOG leadership. |

Pangea:You want 80k active military personnel in 3 states? What for? We don't even have reserve/infants in this country either. I support the move that armies should be withdrawn from some part of the country and also from companies |

IbnSultaan:so what will be the parameters for determining the essential and non essential check points? Won't the insurgents shift attention to places where security is relaxed? To me this measure is premature |

IbnSultaan:lolz, bros forget, on a serious note, an average nigerian police man can never be my friend. Those guys need not just professional training, but home training too. NPF needs real cleansing and re-orientation. |
