Pls just need a clarity about the salary of Nigeria port authority. Am a present serving corper at nysc secretariat enugu. Where I get to know how federal government pays. But a friend told me that "NPA"pays even level 6 500k. My questions are : is it possible, is Nigeria port not a federal sector? Pls need clarification.

Seems they have cut the pay sef, it used to be 2.7m.












No be only 500k, unless you mean per annum...

That friend is lying. They pay nothing less than #3M, that's beside like 17 different allowances. Truss me

Npa is as rich as nnpc.. . The pay might be correct

@TheLaughter, you have just lived up to your moniker by making me really laugh.

Op, I work with a government parastatal, at least for some part; trust me, Public servants are not paid that much. You will always hear rumours of high pay but I assure you, when you get hired, the reality is far different.

Public servants are always hoping for some free money that should come. The downside however is, such monies almost never come.

One lesson that I have learnt is: No employer can pay me well enough; it is okay if they appreciate my effort in cash or kind. I am the only one that know how much I am worth and can pay myself that much.
Note that your pay is not only monetary.
