An 18-year-old man, Mustapha Abdullahi, has been detained by the Bauchi State Police Command for allegedly raping an 8-year-old boy.

In a report published on Pulse.ng, the alleged rapist committed the offence on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Wandi District in Dass Local Government Area of the state causing severe injuries to the 8-year-old boy’s anus.

According to the state police spokesperson, DSP Haruna Mohammed, the suspect lured the 8-year-old boy into his house and forcefully raped him.

Mohammed disclosed that the detectives attached to the Dass division nabbed the suspect in Wandi District of Dass Local Government Area of the State.

“The suspect lured an eight-year-old boy and had unlawful carnal knowledge of him against the order of nature. The victim was rushed to the Dass General Hospital for medical examination.

“The suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded,” Mohammed said
