But they have Account department which suppose to keep track of every bank book & reconcile daily ,weekly or monthly transactions. What a terrible fraud.. That alone is enough to suspect the managers. It means there will be many ghost Accounts in the system.

I am afraid, President Buhari is beginning to talk so irresponsibly. How did he come to the conclusion that the NNPC has lost track of its bank accounts? That they have many bank accounts does not mean they don't know those accounts exist.

Of course too many bank accounts is not good, as it is a means to perpetuate fraud.However, he should not just out there and talk any how. The rot in the system has been long enthrenched. Work, not talk, is what we want now. Enough of these mud slings.

Dear PMB, please Jail the guilty if you should, Prosecute suspects if you will, kill those that deserve death, if you must, but just stop complaining and start working. Going to report NNPC internationally for me is not the next best step.

Fuel is still sold at any price the filling stations decide, Bokoharam is still killing Nigerians everyday, Prices of food and foodstuffs has gone up recently, Power has become epileptic again, the roads have gone back to becoming death traps, Dino Maleye and other politicians have started open display of their opulence etc etc. Start treating all these or tell us what would be done about them.

Going from complaining withing Nigeria to complaining to outsiders is a no no.

what Buhari is saying is actually the truth. and doesn't apply to nnpc alone. several other commissions and agencies have secret accounts that are only know by few members of the board and the presidency. it even happens on the state level, there by only the Governor and his commissioner of account WD have knowledge of some state accounts. You people don't know the God that delivered us all from Jonathan.

Buhari knows what he is saying. Nigeria LNG has paid to NNPC over 20 billion dollar and nnpc is still unable to remit the money or account for it. Billions of dollars from the maritime agency NIMASA cannot be accounted for by nnpc.

I don't have any account of what OBJ or GEJ did about the NNPC saga but since Buhari has seen something, having placed himself in OBJ's shoes as regards NNPC, we expected him to act right away as commander in chief rather than make the announcement from South Africa as if Zuma sent him on a mission to Nigeria.
The period he had stated also covered the time he was in Power as military head of state so a probe must cover all those years leaving no sacred cows. Buhari must dispense justice irrespective of who goes down and clear the air concerning the $2.8billion involving himself, including the PTF things that had been mentioned that happened under his watch.
Look, i don't think any three or four of our past military heads of state combined has the kind of influence in Nigeria as Hosni Mubarak had in Egypt having ruled that country for about 30yrs!. Nigeria has to wake up, if Mubarak can be jailed, so can they.
