Anyone who thinks Buhari is not in support of what is happening at NASS is a political neophyte. We warned you all. For the North/Fulani, it is all about being in power ![]() |

The two chambers have adjourned until 27July, meaning there won't be ministers till August, because I know buhari will blame the crisis in the national assembly for the delay. They came into power on false blame and now they are still looking for who/what to blame for their failure. |

soe:The OBJ of today is Buhari and he's in support of what's going on. So, your point is pure fallacy |

Watch out, they will soon dislodge John-Oyegun and other Tinubu loyalists from APC. The fact is Tinubu miscalculated. A politician of his calibre should have known these Fulanis better. And, they won't accept criticism like GEJ. Criticize them and pay for it. Chikena. I don't feel an iota of pity for him |

d APC is right. As if it was't bad enough dat Saraki, an EFCC suspect & con-man who robbed depositors of their funds at his Societe General Bank surreptitiously conned d party to emerge Senate President, now he has paved way 4 someone who was once cited as having boko haram links to emerge as majority leader in our NASS. We can not allow all d sacrifices of patriotic nigerians to hav a change frm d status-quo to be derailed by an individual's inordinate ambition. Enough is enough.

nellyb24:mr. Scholar the senate caucus ìs dìfferent from the HOR caucus. Alimekhena is the only Apc senator in the south south. Pally represents owan federal constituency. Common sense. Do you expect a representative member to norminate a senator? Talk of facts. If you are not enlightened enough you ask questions or read and observe comments. Just my take. |

When trying to resolve crisis; one has to look at it from the different POVs and also use less emotions/sentiments. Saraki's POV: He knows he wasn't his party's choice. He also knows that the positions for principal officers are not to be trifled with, why put people who you'll constantly have to watch your back for? So, it's best his own men take these positions than strong party loyalists not loyal to him, that way he can sleep better at night. Saraki has backed himself to the wall, he is either going to hack his way through or fight till he is hacked down. I understand his POV but he showed his hand too early. APC's POV: They are aggrieved at the way Saraki tricked and used dirty moves to gain power. They are not willing to admit they made a mistake and instead of calming down are huffing and puffing. I understand them too because not huffing and puffing will open a portal to potential 'stubborn' party members. Who wants to have to deal with strong-headed party members when there is so much to be achieved with the newly acquired party? Other party members are keenly watching; an inaction could lead to more members decamping to Saraki's camp. Buhari's POV: He is keenly aware of his 'dictator' title and wishes to thread softly. He also wants to adhere to a true separate arms of government but the truth is theory can never equate practice. I do not want him to dabble heavily but use your lobbyists effectively. What to do? There are too many leaders in APC because of 3 + 1/2 major political parties that merged plus different strong individuals who didn't come under a party each are lords in their own right. The first mistake was in not getting each regional lords to coerce or persuade the individual lords to achieve a common ground. The second was not having a plan B at the first sign of trouble and instead still forging on relentlessly on the initial plan A. The nation cannot grind to a halt because of an internal party fracas. The party must consider changing its course. Should the deviants be punished? Yes, same way I wanted Amaechi and Tambubawal punished then but the party must change its aggressive course and seek another means to punish and still maintain its members. I propose that an advert be put forth on its unity still being intact and that Nigeria is uppermost in its mind regardless of its internal fiasco. They must take the blame for the fiasco, go into a meeting with the NASS leaders, iron out their issues and after a while, strike. The rest will fall in line. OR Allow saraki and dogara run their course and take that they can do almost nothing to change them, this is what PDP did. |

Don't panic just live with your stupidity. You (APC) promised to run a parallel govt if gej win, but jona quit the stage and they still on course for what the showed. The senate president and the speaker will stay and finish with you. My advise for APC is that they should dare Saraki because he fears nobody. Ask the Kwara's and the will narate how market with the father |

Tambuwal did same to PDP and APC supported him all the way. So APC should just enjoy a serving of their stew. doctokwus: |
