PMB will never have ministers if ALL he is looking for are his replicas, unless he won't appoint any Nigerian politician of whom 99.99% are daylight robbers... .

His kinds are rare breeds, even I, can't guaranty I won't pilfer if given the opportunity to without any close supervision . undecided

All he can do is to look for capable hands and watch them like an hawk so he can take them out at the first sign of compromise..cos if he his looking for his type, we'll wait till he starts using walking stick.... My 2k.
You are very right. I knew this will happen.

PDP eGoats are just waiting for announcement so they start screaming corruption etc.

Buhari should take his time and select credible people who can stand heads high when their life is under scrutiny.

If that takes him 6 months so be it.

I was disappointed seeing Timpere Sylva on his transition commitee.

If you have a corruption case hanging, you should not near a Govt willing to fight corruption

Very clumsy reason. . You can't run this country like a primitive sole administrator. Just stste the standards you want as it regards your ministerial appointments and go for mainly technocrats. Fire those who come short of these sandards whenever you find out in deu course. Lead by example by stoping your dirty romance with the very corrupt, some of them our best friends/benefactors. . Stop hobnobing with the likes of danjuma. . That should be the way to start. Stop bamboozling us with these endless talk aboutt a coming mega fight against corruption. Action not talks
What exactly is your issue with ministerial appointment? Are you looking for one? I guess you know the Permanent Secretaries are more important when it comes to the ministries. Ministers are just figure heads and fund siphoners. The Perm Secs have knowledge of the tasks

I am begining to think Buhari feel he is the only Nigerian that is free of corruption, is he God? Let him appoint people and place them there on trust, even him is voted into power not because he never stole even N1,000 before but because we just hope he did better than GEJ.
Re: Why Buhari Is Yet To Appoint Ministers – Presidency by Batista76(m): 10:48am On Jun 27, 2015
Pointless. Delays seem to be as a result of inside fighting among the APC power brokers. PMB is not perfect or the most righteous. SO he should just look for the most capable hands. He can't end corruption and insecurity even in the next 6 months so please enough.

Slow and steady win the race. I am sure God will transform Nigeria through PMB.
Re: Why Buhari Is Yet To Appoint Ministers – Presidency by TheAdvocate(m): 10:55am On Jun 27, 2015
Buhari CANNOT do that. The constitution stipulates appointment of ministers the moment he assumes office. If he doesn't do that, there is no difference between him and a military head of state.

We have started having 17 hours power supply daily.

Baba take your time and make the right decision at the right time.

Alas there are permanent secretaries in the ministries that are currently moving the ministries.

Ministers are just political appointees

Hmm Its becoming too late joor. If u want to fight corruption within 90days, is he not surpose to disolve EFCC and ICPC board and reconstitute new one same way he just did to NNPC yesterday? When will the efcc be worked on? Cos our laws are clear dt de have the functions of arresting. Not all this their witch hunting that hasnt gotten ONE result. Please Baba we tired of ds DIPLOMATIC RHETORICS.
Seriously, if he really want to fight corruption, he would have overhaul efcc and icpc. This should not take him more than 5days. Is he not having a blueprint on how he wants to run his government before emerging? I see the delay in the appointment of ministers as a delibrate move to frustrate some desperate individuals. I hope this will not affect government business cos something told me that business in ministry of finance have stood still ever since baba emerged. As a matter of fact there is a limited amount of money the permanent Secretary can approve n where there is no minister he is suppose to seek approval from the SFG. This explained why the Sure-P GIS interns stipend has not been payed. Nobody to approval it.

Ministers play a big role in the approval of funds and implementation of policies. Where here is no minister the SFG stands in.....currently Nigeria has no Minister and SFG. Government business is not running smoothly...... If you are in doubt, ask anyone working in any of the federal ministries or parastatals.

ministers are not very important. They are over rated. D head of different ministries and permanent secretaries by default function as ministers. i dont know what d shout over ministers are for.

It is politicians who are making noise because they are losing money from salary and allowance they would hv received as ministers.
God bless you. Every ministry have a functional permanent secretary and directors who are originally the engine room of government business.
If not for the fulfillment of constitutional right, government will functions better without ministers.

That's why his foot soldiers shout 'sai buhari' literally translate to ONLY BUHARI.

And quite frankly the job of President of Nigeria is beyond Buhari the same way it was beyond GEJ and YAR ADUA before him. He is only being packaged by APC the ASSOCIATION OF PACKAGING CONFUSIONIST

If he has no idea of the people he will need to work with him before he even ran for office then he is a failure.

I don't even understand the plank of your argeument. All I smell is a desperation to defend a blundering tin-god. . Very familliar here.. There are seasoned technocrats in this country that can responsibly man the ministries while initiating positive policy thrusts essential for rapid economic rejuvenation. You start to dither/fidget/procastinate in filling your ministerial positions only when you are faced with the daunting task of satisfying every tom, dikc and lucifer with such appointment as a result of some dubious agreements reached clandestinely in one dindgy room with a froged eyed ethnic vampire at Bourdillion street. .
Re: Why Buhari Is Yet To Appoint Ministers – Presidency by MrP7: 2:52pm On Jun 27, 2015
It might be forever for Buhari to appoint ministers then because nearly every politician is corrupt.
My question is that in developed countries every country has a shadow cabinet take for example England.
The opposition party had a shadow cabinet up till and after the elections.
When Obama was contesting for president he had an economical team
That's not an excuse he should have known who would make his cabinet along time ago, right up to the election he should have known who would likely be in his cabinet.
He couldn't try this if he was the president of a developed country
